Some people follow the laws because they feel compelled to follow the laws or because they fear the punishment of breaking the law... Then there are those who follow the law because they just consider it the 'right thing to do'. I suppose you could count me among the latter. I don't consider myself "picking and choosing", I just consider it doing the right thing.

Well, Don, I don't know how to be any clearer about this, Obama and Holder are picking and choosing which laws they will enforce and which they will ignore. Which laws do we get to ignore? You may choose to obey all laws but this administration is picking and choosing.

The refusal of all but a token few in Congress to speak out in public about this growing dictatorship is just as disturbing. It lends credence to the conspiracy theorists, to boot.

Which laws do we get to ignore? You may choose to obey all laws but this administration is picking and choosing. And, he can do that - legally. It's not the "right way", and I don't have to be happy about it, but I suppose this is an example of how this President has decided he'll do a work-around to a gridlocked do nothing Congress. You do realize that he is doing what he can to keep the promises he made when he was elected? I was NEVER a fan of his immigration policy. It would have turned me off to voting for him if the Bush Administration hadn't all but destroyed this economy, and I was faced with the option of Obama and a Bush buddy who aligned with Bush on almost every piece of legislation that hit Congress. Then, I listened to Mr. "robot" debate, and just couldn't go there again. No way. Plenty of other Republicans couldn't either. Now, we have a green President stepping up over his head and learning through trial by fire. It could be worse. It might have been better. We all wish it had been better. Still, he didn't bait and switch as far as I'm concerned. I'll pay attention to what Obama says he intends to do and how he intends to go about it. I've paid a lot of attention to Mitt Romney, and I did last go round. He leaves me cold. I don't know what commitments he's made to us, because he continues to evade tough questions. I just hate mealy mouthed politicians, and Romney is the only other choice we have. He's a flip-flopper. None of us really knows what he'll do about immigration, but we do know he's a friend to business. He's not going to satisfy your need for blood on that score. He'll accommodate business interests and needs. On the two economic proposals - Mitt still loses. Neither one has it right, but Mitt has both tax policy and economic policy wrong - more wrong than Obama. It may be the most frustrating time for Americans since the Great Depression, but you'd better do your homework and continue demanding Romney get SPECIFIC and stop tap dancing if you want to know what's in that pig in a poke facade.

But Obama is not for the USA. He has too many people who support him who think Illegals are good for the USA. I`m a little sceptical Of Romney right now too. But so far Romney seems to be a better choice. Pretty sad that a Nation as great as The USA used to be, is stuck every Election with choosing who is the lesser EVIL ! There should be Laws enacted so as to have more choices. Though I believe Ron Paul will still be on the ballot. Even he has some off kilter ideas?? The only reason Obama was elected was that people were tired of BUSH and felt if they voted for McCain it would be 4 more years of BUSH. That and some felt the racial push. Some voted for Obama to prove they were not Racist. Now we have a Racist President.

It`s truely amazing that people can`t see how he is working very hard to destroy American Values.

Here's the list of corporate sponsors who fund the organization: http://www.theamericanresistance.com/race_ind... Corporate America funds NCLR. They are enjoying cheap labor, and if it ever changes to legitimacy, NCLR will organize a union for them that will continue to cater to corporate needs in exchange for all of that union clout and influence that would be created for the top executives at the organization. I can't do much about the dissatisfaction you feel for national Latino civil rights organizations nor about your suspicions of Latino-Americans in general, but the least you and I can do is least give accurate and current information. God forbid we fail to credit all government, public and private sector businesses investing in the communities they do business in and profit from. The list you got from "The American Resistance Foundation" - a one-man website operation designed to smear legitimate Latino civil rights organizations - is as lame as its rhetoric. Why go there when you can get the information straight from NCLR's Annual Report - beats the heck out of me. Here it goes....
