George will have to testify and stand a blistering cross examination but it won't be in front of a jury. If the judge rules against George the case can then proceed to a jury trial. It's doubtful that George would take the stand at a jury trial, he's not very likeable, frankly his family and friends aren't either. WTF, it's only money right and so long as folks are willing to contribute to O'Mara's wallet, he might as well give them a good show.

If the Judge does not feel proof has been presented he can dismiss the case before the jury even deliberates. The most George's lawyer has to do is present reasonable doubt he does not have to prove anything and he does not even have to do that if the state can't PROVE George struck first. The state has already admitted they can't do that. You're not too bright. George's lawyer has already been dancing around like a clown on cocaine over this and trust me, the last thing they're going to do at that trial is to just sit there and say nothing.

Aquarius-WY wrote: <quoted text> You keep saying that St. Tray was a "scared 17 year old kid". What do "scared kids" do? They RUN dear. They HIDE dear. They GET THE HELL OUT OF DODGE IN ONE HELL OF A HURRY dear. "Scared kids" do NOT stand and fight a larger person dear, they hit the trail with tail tucked firm. St. Tray did none of the things that a "scared kid" would normally do. It is more likely and stands to reason that he thought himself tough, as most 17 year old kids do. His actions do not demonstrate a "scared kid". Your claims do not fall in line with reason and reality and evidence. Not everyone reacts to situations the same. Add to that you don't know what this kid was thinking, you just conveniently surmise he thought he was "tough". Well punk....in either case he had a right to defend himself from a strange man following him. In your rush to conveniently forget the fact Zimmerman followed this kid and basically harassed him because dumbass George thought he had an adult criminal in his sights leads to the high probability Trayvon saw him as a viable threat to his own safety. George acted inappropriately through this entire event friend. He's not going to be able to squeeze out of that basic fact.

Aquarius-WY wrote: <quoted text> It is not the "same damn thing" dear. Fine. Given it's a self defense case why is it O'Mara is maneuvering to a SYG position? Given this is a self defense case why is it not plausible Trayvon saw the strange man following him around all night as a viable threat and responded to it? The basis of this is you have a dead skinny 17 year old unarmed boy shot dead by a meddling full grown man. A lot of people are outraged and for good reason.

Maybe you'd welcome a stranger following you unidentified at night given you're off the charts you're no doubt lonely for any human interaction who knows but I hate to tell you if you were at the recieving end of that it's weird to say the least. No one knows what to think when a stranger follows you like George did Trayvon. What??? Did you think Trayvon should have 'figured it out'? Please, just shut up.

He has no regrets from the night of the shooting, he wouldnt change a thing about how the event unfolded from that night, and he feels he was carrying out "god's" plan. Hannity interview. Does this sound like a citizen who acted in self defense or a person who committed murder? Just sayin.

Aquarius-WY wrote: <quoted text> That is correct. The only thing in question is WHY Z shot M. You have a lot of trouble gleaning the meaning of words and phrases dear. I'm not your dear punk. For one I never held an attraction to men who were simpletons. There's more to it than that. If you're as stupid as to not think this entire sequence of events from when Zimmerman first saw Martin won't be taken to court you're a fool.

Where Is My America wrote: <quoted text>Well said. I do believe "Pam" will throw in the towel. She does not fight the good fight nor does she have the understanding of the concept of self defence , the US Constitution and The ability to see others view points or reach compromise when necessary. She came on here and started insulting people rather then ask questions or begin a dialogue where one may not agree but at least try to learn. This is rich. You've managed to toss out more insulting dialogue than a dozen mice can produce offspring. I understand self defense all too well thank you. And I have managed to utilize specific skills to the same in a couple of cases. Apparntly you might see everything from a 5 year old boy throwing a tantrum to a 98 year old woman pulling on your sleeve as a threat to your safety worthy of a deadly response but many of us have a hard time swallowing Zimmerman's bullshit.

Aquarius-WY wrote: <quoted text> If you would pay attention and actually digest what is written in response to your drivel, you would be aware that we here who uphold civil rights (including Zimmerman and even you dear) as paramount in our court system, have ALREADY written that BOTH sides are culpable. It has also been written to you SEVERAL times that just because Zimmerman may be an idiot, it still does NOT make him guilty of an unlawful homicide. Through his actions that night he caused the death of an 17 year old boy. He's the only one here that's culpable of this crime. I fail to see how Trayvon is culpable of his own death unless you can claim one party can defend themselves whilst the other has no right to.

Pedophiles often follow their prey in the same manner...to stay back and shadow their potential victims until they feel the time is right. What? Did you think Zimmerman just happened to be heading to the same places Trayvon went by coincidence that night? LOL!!!

It was a community with a lot of people living there. There were signs informing people on the property of a Neighborhood watch. Why would a threat follow a person in a populated complex? I'm sure George was not the only unidentified man Trayvon had seen in this complex. Still was not a threat of great bodily harm or death therefore Trayvon didn't have grounds to attack George.

Criminals cannot be found in populated areas? Good God idiot. LOL!!! I can tell you this...I have been shadowed before and it can be determined to be a viable threat. Cops and the law aren't too keen about stalkers, those that behave in a suspicious manner by following strangers at night and only a fool will not take a defensive posture once a threat starts to be identified. Zimmerman went beyond his bounds. Even the NRA won't back this punk because of his actions that night prior to the shooting. This will be in the trial dimwit and maybe then you'll shut your ignorant self up.
