PCB cleanup firm appeals to EPA over GE's figures

A company that has developed a process to remove PCBs from soil and sediment is accusing General Electric of inflating the technology's cost while underestimating its efficacy.

maybe ge can use the soil they dredge up for filling in land owned by be CEO's and higher up's of thier company. These people make me sick. Forget wild life for a second we've all read "silent spring" and know the impact greedy corpaeations like general electric have on the enviornment. What about the countless human lives they're responsible for distroying? I don't know money talks I guess. You could'nt pay me enough, it just goes to show how slimey polaricians are. Racheal Carlson wrote a book Silent Spring if anyone who does'nt know what I'm talking about is interested.

why do you guys want me to look at these sites? I grew up here and am well aware of general electrics impact on this community as well as new York state and thier great efforts to cover it up and do the least amount possible. Well they've given alot of money out too but what good is it if your kids are born with birth defects like being blind and you're probablly going to die of cacer at 40 because of the exposure to pcbs?
