It is very obvious you don't value any type of human life. It should not matter if he is heavy or skinny that is not the problem here. The problem is Aholes like you that thinks the world owes you something. We all have to pay taxes whether or not we have children and from the sounds of you we have probably paid for your rude A** quite a bit.

That should have never happened. What ever happened to safety for the children. They need to be picked on the same side road of there home. Not the other. This should be changed ASAP. There shouldn't be any looking into it change it now.

I agree Nikki, an adult should have been watching out for these kids. Someone has to take responsibility for all children and make sure they will be safe. No way will my children EVER cross any street to get on a bus.

While my child does not have to cross four lanes of traffic, his bus stop is still not a safe location. I have requested twice that it be changed but both times the request was denied by Knox County schools. I think they need to look at all bus stops! This is a heart breaking situation and should never have happened. All efforts should be made to ensure it does not happen again!

Yor are so ridiculos and you need help. You are an adult and you are acting like this and no one cares about you 2 degrees or how much your parents paid for your schooling! I get education for free, so what? My dad and my sister witnessed this accident and I pray to god nothing like this ever happends to your family or anyone elses. I use to ride the same bus and catch the bus at the same stop he did,they are liers, there is not a bus stop on our side of the road, so the school board people need to stop being lazy and make another bus stop, how hard would that be for then. I think we need to keep Tyler and the Driver in our prayers......The student should not have to cross a 4 lane. Just getting off the bus were I live and getting on another, while the bus is stopping the other traffic is freaky enough.

I used to live on Rutledge Pike when it was a two lane and go to Carter as well. That was a dangerous road then. We had to cross two lanes of traffic. There is no reason a child should have to cross four lanes of traffic to catch a bus. If they would have left the stops alone to where the kids were catching the bus either in front of their house or at least on the same side of the road none of this would have happened. Having the kids walk longer to catch the bus is awful. I will keep Tyler and his family in my prayers and I hope everyone prays for James Arthur as well because he will need it. One day we will have to answer for what we say and do and I hope he know that. May god Bless you.

I think that this, James Arthur, is the same idiot ( using a different name)that has been making posts on other tragic events that have been in our news recently. He has made terrible comments about Channon & Chris, the man shot and killed in the trailer park and other such horrific crimes. This is a heartless person with no soul and is probably capable of committing any of the horrific crimes mentioned and wouldn't blink and eye. Would the people please continue to play for this young student and his recovery. Pray also for his parents and the lady who hit him, they are surely in need of our prayers. God Bless
