When persistent fraud occurs and local authorities refuse to obey the law the only recourse is to go to the State. Crimes have been committed.

Ragsdale told us last Friday before the Ethics committee that there would be no more surprises and that nothing else would be found. Now his exec asst Ms Lloyd is taking commisioners to lunch at Regas and getting Lobster dinners to go to the tune of $ 225.00 of credit card tax payer money.Not going to pay it back because the county has no limitation of expenditures. Bull Crap!! There rules prohibit any meal charges locally. Only a per diem meal allowance is permited on over night out of Knox County travel. Thay don't even know their own rules. When is it going to end? When there is outside audit of the credit card program. Mayor Ragsdle what else do you have to hid?

Our county government is composed of crooks - plain and simple. A bunch of good ole boys operating under their own interpretation of the law. If it doesn't suit their needs, they bend it or ignore it.

I appreciate Mayor Ragsdale for being the man of character that he is. He owned up to the situation, and he is fixing the problems. He is the kind of leader we need! Now, if someone would investigate and unseat Greg Lambert, and send him and his beloved Robin Butler(Daniel) to jail for their decades of misconduct, my faith in our government might be restored.

This would never happen in Cocke County. You cannot run up a tab like that at the Waffle House.

Since Margie Lloyd was Mr. Ragsdale's executive assistant, just who do you think approved her expense reports? Ragsdale is fixing the problems (which he created) only because he got caught. Do I think Co. Commission is any better? No. They are all cut from the same cloth and should be ousted.

So you are saying when Ragsdales executive assistant (who had approved carges from the county for a carnival cruise) was transferred to the position Bone had Ragsdale is doing a 'good job"??????

Now she can use the same repremanded supervisor's (Cynthia Finch) approval for her future expenses and stay on???????

i glad that john werner has been removed. He was never qualified and let the job go completely to his head. Someone needs to remind him that a fancy suit doesnt mean you know what your doing. maybe he will go back to selling insurance. bb and t is probably woorried right now.

Not only is he taking care of the problem; he created it!!!!! The only reason he is doing something now is because all of them got caught and he is trying to save his own butt.

They should all be replalced and criminal charges filed. That is what happens in the real world of business. It is called embezzlement.

County employees are getting a miniscule 2% raise while execs office is chowing down on lobster, alcohol, and cruises???
