Pregnant woman killed in apparent radiator theft
A Morgan County man is accused of fatally shooting a pregnant woman in a car full of people that were allegedly trying to steal his radiator.

Shot while committing a crime, sounds like justified homicide to me. Sure it is only a radiator, but it was HIS radiator.

WHY DID THE PREGNANT WOMAN CONTINUE TO DRIVE--HMMM--SHE COULD HAVE STOPPED AND CALLED FOR HELP MAYBE SAVING HER LIFE AND THE CHILDS LIFE, SHE WAS NEGLIGENT IN HER ACTIONS--WORD ACTIONS!! IF SHE WAS WORKING AN HONEST MIN. WAGE JOB SHE MIGHT STILL BE ALIVE INSTEAD OF OUT THIEVING, OTHERS IN THE CAR SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH ACESSORY TO MURDER, THEY DIDN'T TRY TO HELP OBVIOUSLY!

My sister was at the clinic when they came in, said they tried to save the baby, guess it didn't work, I really hate it for all the families, what sux is, it was over a car part. Was it made of Gold, must have been to want to kill for it, 2 people dead, 1 person going to prison. Dang shame, what's this world coming too.

This will be a interesting trial if they don't plead it down to voluntary msnslaughter or something. I don't blame the suspect if they were indeed stealing his property.

a PREGNANT WOMAN, 8 MONTHS, driving a car commiting a robery? How could she put her child in this situation...the one she was carrying as well as the 14 month old in the car? Good Lord, what was she thinking and what kind of a life was she providing for the children in the first place....don't believe in judging, but I would hate to be facing my judgement after putting my children in such risk in the first place! |

The man was just protecting his personal property. I guess he should have asked before he shot at the people who were stealing from him. |

She was driving the car that committed a robbery!! I can't imagine putting your own child in that kind of situation. I know some people may say it was just a radiator, but maybe that was his only way to get to work, doctor etc. This is a no win situation

Sorry for your loss, IHSP. Whether she knew it not, she was the get away driver. It may be a low class heist, attempting to steal a radiator, but the general public is sick and tired of people stealing from them, instead of working to buy what they "want". This man was protecting his property, the outcome was unfortunate. Those that 'should be' charged, are the other "adults" that were in the car with her, attempting to commit the theft. |
