Don't forget, ObamaCare ALSO took a huge slice of $$ from Medicare. The demise of the Advantage program, has already ticked the seniors off ... or so the the articles I've read on that say.
Actually, I have been on the road a lot for the last couple of days. I always listen to talk radio...but happened to find a station ran by the AFA (christian talk radio) and of course they were talking about obama's latest. The concensus seemed to be that before obama's endorsement, the evangelicals were not too keen to vote for a Mormon when obama had stated he was a Christian. One of the hosts guesstimated it was a lukewarm: 50/50, maybe 60/40 for romney. Since that endorsement (& on my 2nd day of travel) the tides seem to have changed to a "not in my country" 100% romney energized base.
You're making one critical mistake: believing anything you hear from the AFA.

what a good example of why we cant legislate from a 1600 year old book.

science has pretty much pinned down that homosexuality is naturally occuring....

if someone asked you to become homosexual?? you couldn' t do it.

neither could I, or most people.

but it is the same exact situtaion for gays.....asking manys gays to go straight is asking them to do the same thing.

we temper our belifes with science these days ??

dont we??

it is easy to see how people of that era were afraid of tiny weird looking(yet tasty) sea critters that fed on the bottom.

So while Obama sucks money out of the gay community, without DOING anything - he still left gay marriage up to the states where it's been rejected 32 times out of 33 tries - JP Morgan loses $2 BILLION on a bet.

1. As a result of this failure, will he be canned?

2. Should he be canned?

3. Since it was basically a bet, who won?

Religion cannot run a country. For there can only be one true nation. And that is not of this world.

How to control a nation 101.
Distract, Deceive, Divide, Indoctrinate, Disarm.
It isn't left vs. right in your country. It's top vs. bottom. That's even what the Occupy protestors are SUPPOSED to be about, but people have a hard time abandoning their left vs. right mentality. Oui?

Will President Obama be re-elected? Yes, although by a narrow margin because in a poor economy the tendency of many unthinking voters is to "throw them out".

Luckily this tendency will send home some of the know-nothing, do-nothing Tea Partiers in Congress!
They paralyzed our Congress when what the depressed economy actually needed was a huge jolt of spending to ensure jobs and revenues coming in again!

We should be out of this depression (yes, depression) by this time, and the Republicans have a lot of 'splaining to do.

And before the short-term memory loss poster boy TimDeeVetEd comes on to say the Democrats have a majority in the Senate---no, they don't, because 60 votes in the Senate is the new majority.

Here is the gist of the President's Sat. morning radio speech:
www.newschannel5.com/.../obama-asks-congress -...

Watch for the Republicans' song and dance on Obama's request here for Congress to reward corporations who keep jobs here and do not outsource!

Heck, how can Republicans do something mean like that to the top 1% they serve and protect?

I don't get it! They elected me twice for Vice President and I said I was for gay marriage. So what is the fuss all about now? Wasn't I important enough for them? I was next in line to be President.

"I always listen to talk radio."

Nice.

Who's gonna actually give statistics uttered by a ditto head any validity to begin with? People that hate gays to begin with were already gonna vote for anybody but Obama. The conservatives are desperately clinging to non-victories to assuage their misery concerning the fact that their 5th favorite nominee, who has been campaigning forEVER now, is only in a statistical tie with Obama, who just began his campaign presently.

Well, not according to what I heard. Most of that "viewing" audience was not even going to vote. That is the point I was making, NOW, they are...and it won't be for obama.

Yes, I've seen the reports of the statistical tie as well. Funny that, most "sitting" prez are usually way ahead of the game at this point...which we all know.

• In March 1972, Richard Nixon had an approval rating of 53%. In the general election eight months later, he crushed George McGovern, winning 64% of the vote.

• In May 1984, Ronald Reagan had an approval rating of 52%. That November he went on to win reelection with 58% of the vote, garnering 525 electoral votes.

• In March 1996, Bill Clinton had an approval rating of 52%. In November he easily defeated Bob Dole.
