One of many scenic local attractions. The overlooks at Trail of tears, Fort D in Cape and Cape Rock are all worth some attention. The tour of the mill at Burfordville is like going back in time 200 years.

Just discovered Mt. Vernon's page! We have family connections with Burfordville and Bollinger County. The original mill was built by George Frederick Bollinger. He's buried in a small cemetery on the hill above the bridge and mill. You have to climb over fallen trees to get up there. Bollinger is pronounced "Bullinger" in that region.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Pisces

Family, friends and in-laws are all hard to please. It is better to please yourself for once, dear Pisces, than to bang your head against a wall. You need to relax and get in touch with your own feelings. Do not hesitate to speak up for someone you care about. Someone may try to curtail your freedom. Set them straight and do not give in.
