That's true we could do that, the number prisoners could also be taken into a positive light as well, such as an attempt to keep the country safe for those who due abide by the law. The record for Iran is well documented by Amnesty Internationale, Reporters Without Borders and Human Rights Watch. The typical defense offer is to say that they are "tools" of the US. But anyone that looks into these organizations knows that they are the closest you get for an unbaised opinion.

I agree with everything you just said completely. I am not trying to defend the IRI whatsoever, any person with common sense could condone the actions of that government. I'm not saying some of what you said is not factual, but a lot of what you stated is quite irrelevant, like divorce or women and prescription drugs or advertisement or how much television is watched. But out of that entire list you know what sticks out to me? Freedom, freedom to make the choices want. I haven't drank a soda or eaten a carb in almost 4 years, but do I care that the guy beside me, may choose to have a hamburger and a coke, no I don't. I don't watch pornography do I care that it's made, no it doesn't affect me, people choose to make it, I choose not to watch it. Money for elections, those are generally from private parties for the most part, I'm glad we have elections and not the debacle that took place in Iran's previous election. I question #32, as a population compared to most we look fairly well, and the Japanese spend much more time in school than we do. Airport security thugs? I fly frequently around the country, and occasionally to the UK or into Toronto, Canada and I have to disagree. As far as crime goes, yes we do have more reported prisoners, that's fine with freedom comes choices, when you have choices, sometimes that leads to a bad decision, which needs to be met with a just penalty. Does the US have it's flaws? Absolutely, now list one country that doesn't? How often do you here about American suicide bombers? How many American people have been executed by it's own government? How often do you see us on television burning another nations flag or cheering "death to (insert country)?" When is the last time you heard of mass grave uncovered on American soil? What it comes down to, is I'd rather be a citizen of this country, be given the opportunity to be anything I want, if I'm willing to work for it, than to listen to a small minded, anti-semetic watered down Adolf wannabe known as the president of Iran.

Oh and on the topic of our spending, you forgot to mention what we give to others during natural disasters. Not that others don't contribute, just wanted to throw that in.

I know that Iran is not an Arab state, you can see they are free, but I don't live in fear of government or religion, and I've never beat a woman especially in the name of the deity. One gentleman was nice enough to point out the contradiction of it's list in it's entirety, my people being upset living here is laughable, I hear everyday, man I was I lived in Iran or I can't wait to move to Syria. No one in their right mind would leave the US for Iran, but as someone said already look at how many want come or are already here, and to those that are I say welcome. And that election was the joke of the world.
