Prisoner for Christ; An Iranian Christian Rejoices in Suffering

No country in the Middle East has seen more Christians imprisoned in 2011 than in Iran. A recent report by Christian Solidarity Worldwide revealed that 254 Christians were arrested in more than thirty cities across the country since June 2010.

The majority of those arrested were released within a few days in what proved to be an Iranian government tactic to intimidate and disperse Christian communities. These new believers are viewed as a threat to the laws of Islam, which the Iranian regime uses to control its people. They are now paying the ultimate price to follow Christ, but say the reward far outweighs the cost."

Strange how you dont believe what is so easy to find out. Just ask any sane Iranian and you will know the truth. They can carry on with their persecution whilst you stand with your head in the sand.
