A genuine question: Can you really compare the times of the Atlantic Series cars with the IRL cars is this manner? I think a road course puts them closer in terms of expected performance, but aren't there other factors that make keep them from such a comparison?

When Champ Car tested at Mid-Ohio last year they were 5 seconds faster than Helio’s pole time from this year. I don’t think more horsepower would help Marty Roth but it would sure help the series and make for better racing.
