Annual "AJ IV Ride Likelihood" Vigil Begins in Earnest

Ok. TG doesn't have a sponsor for AJ IV yet so we begin our annual hand wringing over AJ's ride.

What happened to Lilly? The IVth did a lot of events for them. They received a lot of visibility for their company. They might have even added a few diabetes or cholesterol customers through their screenings.

Now the Anthony is engaged to the owner of the Colts, maybe the Colts can sponsor him. Will there soon be a Vth on the way??

I really hope Anthony finds some sponsor money. I will be very upset if he is not full time.

I wonder at what point it is too late.

Vision Racing is very active on Twitter so I have sent them a message asking that.

With the announcement that RHR is going to be in the number 21 Vision car, one would think that all hope for the AJ IV is lost. However, on the Vision Facebook page, Vision says they are still working on AJ IVs ride and to "be patient".

I am ready to see AJ IV in the 500!

looks like the vision team has a case of short term memory loss. earlier posts quote the team as saying they were going to be a one car team due to lack of sponsorship. how did rhr move in front of aj4 for the driver of the second car?

because rhr brought a big sponsor with him and 4 just didn't have anyone willing to put up the money

Good thing granddad had a ride for the IVth in the 500 this year. I'm still waiting to hear what Vision is "working on" for Anthony -- hopefully we'll find out before the season is over.

on ajfoyt.com (grandad's site) the bio has been updated and it looks like they are trying to get a ride for Anthony in some of the later part of the season. is this a bye-bye for vision?

Anthony is getting married this weekend (July 18). Good thing he picked on off-week in case he was driving for someone.

Well congrats to Anthony and hope all goes well with the wedding. I'm slightly concerned that we haven't heard much for him on the driving front since Miss Irsay was set to become Mrs Foyt. hopefully that's just a coincidence and that the ride for next season is in the works. I hate not seeing Anthony full time in a car, so much talent wasted.

I agree 500 fan. Here we have Kentucky coming up and Anthony always does well there.

I know he does..... that's the only race he's really come close to winning. It'll be a sad day not seeing him out on that track.
