ths is another Thanksgiving coming upon me.Thinking how things could be so different.A nother holiday witout my brother and now found out a month ago tht mine and Daves sister ios dead.U all who know who me , melinda and dave know the complicated story of our life .well melinda has bn in the Caribean Islands on St,Croix for the past 10-12 yrs.She was in trouble wth the law in numerous states here and over their.We found out melinda was a huge heroin user and she was HIV-POSITIVE,melinda had many demons as well as dave did.Dave was a alcoholic and did drugs.Melinda was a drug abuser to the fullest extent.
.There was alot of unanswerd questions surrounding daves death and now there are the same questions surrounding melindas death.thy think because she was a heroin user and hiv p,,tht it would be ok for thm to just write off her death.but melinda jumped off a 3 story balcony to escape a group of people she lived but thy woke up the next morning and she was dead.melinda and dave r finally at peace no more demons to hunt thm.teresa im truly sorry for the way things happened between me and u and the family.i didnt wnt to deal wth all the questions and i knew dave was finally at peace and u all know wht i mean.a few months b4 dave passed me and the family wnt to spend the weekend wth dave tht was the last good moments i could remember wth dave taking his 4 wheelers out into the woods behind his house ending up in a creek chest high wth water,,gettin lost ,walking hrs until the cops and the helicopter found us.tht was the last good time wth him..i miss him as much as anybody else and now i have to say good bye to my sister as well.Im the only one left from tht day in which we lost r parents and now i lost my brother and sister.i just dont understand somtimes why i am the one thts left and thy r gone..Dave and Melinda i miss yall i dont understand why yall had to leave,,i am the one left wth ths burdeon of our family..i love yall and wsh i was wth yall..to teresa and the hooks family im sorry so everthing tht was said ,,im truly sorry

Jeff, this is Ami. Rhonda's daughter. I'm sorry to hear about your sister. I hope you can find peace in your heart. Know that I loved my Uncle David and still miss him today. I dream about him sometimes.

I was very sorry to hear about Melinda. My condolence to you and your family.
Not a day goes by, not a day, that I do not think of our brother and miss him....some harder then others.
No one has the answers Jeff...as I said before...you need to quit carrying a burden that should not have been placed on you kids and is not yours to carry. Just do right for your own and you have overcome.
