This law suit is just the beginning. It is so much more than the illegal and unethical treatment of Williams. If you were at last night's Board meeting you would understand.

The four women who have taken Perry School's hostage voted against a resolution to hold a townhall meeting which they voted on and approved back in January. Freedom of speech, anyone?

They voted against a resolution which would encourage more public participation by Perry patrons at the Board meetings. Freedom of speech, anyone?

The worse thing that happened last night was when a Perry taxpayer, parent, etc. spoke to the fact that he had sent a general email to all Board members after the last meeting asking questions regarding their vote on some particular issues. He then received a follow up email from one of the Board members' life partner. The person who sent this email accessed his partner's School email account, lifted the patrons email address and responded to the patron in a very derogitory and threatening manner.

When the patron attempted to address the Board about this issue, Susan Adams, Board President, responded by saying that he was out of order and motioned for a security officer to remove the patron from the room. When the patron calmly said that "this isn't right" "how do I address this?" Mrs. Adams said, "I don't know what the forum is but this isn't it." When the patron then asked Mr. Nichols, acting superintendent the same question, Mr. Nichols look dumbfounded and didn't answer.

All the public needs to do is come to one meeting and you will get a clear picture of what is going on in Perry Township. A real mess!

Welcome to Perry Township where the unethical and immoral behavior never ends.
Congratulations oompa loompas. You moan and complain about hiring attorneys to dismiss Dr. Williams but are willing to sue the school corporation so that they can incur more attorney fees?! Are you kidding me??
And how is it that Lee Robbins'corporation was able to sue the very school board that his client sits on? Where is your Code of Ethics Mr Robbins?

The truth is only a handful of people support these 4 wack jobs (family members). From what I understand, even their neighbors think they are losers. Can't wait to get them in front of a judge. Hope they know something about the law, else, they may perjure themselves. Will be fun to watch!

This will be a lengthy, expensive, drawn-out process. The Board will delay these proceedings at every turn.
Good, it will all be fresh in our minds come next election.

Perhaps the the board members should quit all of this childish behavior and realize that the schools are being affected by their negative actions. While all the Hens are scrabbling- no one is watching the chicks! This week we lost a student possibly due to getting punched in the face at school. We have a gang issue that should be getting some attention. To top it off , four Rise staff memebers were fired due to selling drugs at our special needs school. I guess with the fine example the school board is setting on ethics and respect we cannot expect anything else for our schools and our children.

Life Partner? So the head of the school board deciding the future course for our kids has a "life partner"? Not that there's anything wrong with that, but...

I guess if you don't like what an elected body decides don't vote them out just sue. Will anyone join me in suing Congress, the Indiana House of Representatives, and the City-County Council? Or maybe respect their rights and try and vote them out. That is how it is supposed to happen in America. Not these Neo-Nazi's trying to impose their will.

We "moan and complain" because of the board's non-movement on Dr Williams. We might as well make the lawyers earn there money that we have been paying well before the suit was filed. If FULL disclosure of charges were given before or a few weeks after Dr Williams was placed on paid vacation this would not have been needed. Since 6+ months have passed and no wrongdoing has been produced I think it is safe to say that the witch hunt is over and no witch's were found ( I will refrain from the joke here). This suit may just be the vehicle the board needs to get their collective backsides moving and either dismiss or reinstate Dr Williams--either way it doesn't matter to me.I just want the frivolous spending by BOTH sides stop and the school board doing the job they were elected to do. This is the board's last chance to either put up or shut up.If the board cannot produce any substantial proof of wrong-doing then they ALL need to agree on what to do with Dr Williams.--If they can produce proof and it is verified by an independent 3rd party that Dr Williams did have knowledge of this wrong-doing then Dr Williams needs to step down--this sound logical to me be I'm sure that both sides will chew my a** for flaws in my reasoning

Members of Congress and the Indiana House can be recalled. Apparently school board members cannot. While it might seem 'rational' to wait two years to address this situation, an extreme amount of damage will have been done by then. Better to get this settled quickly and get back to educating students about subjects other than the bizarrities of the political process and abnormal psychology.

As a new move in to Perry TWP with two young sons, I am looking to sell my home and move because this "Gang of Four" has put this school system into a downward spiral. Right, wrong or indifferent, if this Dr. Williams has done anyhting wrong then FIRE him already. It seems to me from an new outsiders perspective, they dont have enough to fire him, they just seem to have their (the board members) undergarments in a bunch. Local politics are the worst. In a small branch of any govenment, when you have peers governing peers there is some sort of entitlement or resentment. These four board members seem to have a personal agenda. This Nancy Walsh chick needs to take a step down off her high mount and do something constructive, like quit.

As a new Perry resident and parent, I have been reading up on this. Checl out Mrs. Adams profile on the website, she is going back to IUPUI to get her superintendants license. Anyone else think she is trying to make a job for herself?

I am with you as a new Perry parent time to make a choice until the legal spending rivals what we spend in Iraq. 6 months is long enough. The Board seems to be grasping for something they will not find

Well Susan Adams more than once stated that someone should sue the township, and finally someone has. If you haven't been at the school board meetings and witnessed what has been going on you really don't have a right to complain about the issues. I think the lawsuit is the last straw. These women have continued to ignor the feelings of the teachers and parents of the township. The individuals who have filed this suit had no choice. Perry Township can not wait 2 more years for a re election. I just hope this brings everyone to the table to discuss the issues that need to be discussed and that these 4 women are reminded that they are supposed to represent the Township not their own egos.

Thanks for the support--I have been in the district since my kids were able to go to school. This mess needs to end--quickly--before we have a special tax increase for the stupidity that seems to be running amok in Perry Township

I can't stay silent anymore. This whole thing is rediculious! BOTH sides need to just let the audit finish and justice take its course.(And November to March is only 4 or 4 1/2 months, not 6). Audits can take over a year to complete.

There are bigger problems in Perry Schools that need to be addressed. The board needs to move forward to addressing those problems. Most of those problems where there even with Dr. Williams is at his post. There is frivilous spending in many other areas that needs to be stopped. There are problems with how special needs children are dealt with. There are problems with academics. I moved here from a very small district in Michigan over a year ago, and they were a year ahead of Perry academically. Now that is a sad state of affairs. These are the things that the Board and ALL parents should be concerned with! Our children should be top priority, NOT one administrator!

Thats my 2 cents.

Don't move. Next election, run for board member and help change things.
