How about posting the Saturdays high school basketball scores. Can't find them anywhere. The info on your site is old too.

You say that "sports coverage we had planned for Sunday's paper appear on this site" I don't see it! You still have Friday's scores.
Agree with above post...was on here to e-mail my complaint about this morning's pathetic paper..will now cut you a break, but let's do better..OK
Doh. Are you hiring IT guys, now?
So instead of posting this when it happened you wait until 10:00 to explain the problem. Oh, and nice job of sending out Saturday's paper with Sunday's date on it!
Can I assume you will credit my account for this Sunday paper, which has all of Saturdays articles?
What dows the Indy Star plan on doing to compensate me for the $1.75 I paid what turned out to be a Saturday which I already read?
I bet nothing! While your at it get some mail carrier's who will deliver the paper when we get more than an inch of snow. The next time my paper is not deliver, delivered a day late or I get a $1.75 newspaper with the previous days news I will cancel my subscription. |
Okay...but why would I want to pay for Saturday's newspaper twice?
Why does this announcement appear on-line instead of in the paper? I think we shouldn't be charged for this issue.
Missing Sunday's paper wouldn't be so bad if Indianapolis had other newspapers to compete with the Star. I fail to understand how a city of this size, and one that wants to identify itself as a "world-class" city can survive with just one newspaper. And one with a liberal stance, at that.
It's now 10:33 am and still no Saturday night high school basketball scores on the website. Oh...and I will be receiving a credit for Sunday's paper won't I since I already read it Saturday!

The Village Pantry in Lebanon has a note saying that the only issue with the paper is the front page layout. That is untrue! It is yesterday's sports too. I think they are trying to sell yesterday's early edition as today's paper so they do not have to refund money back to advertisers, such as Best Buy.
Early edition paper are not going to cut it!!! You people need a back up plan!!! I want Sundays news in paper form!!!!

Dead tree media = dead.
Long live the Pixel Paper, made from 100% recyclable electrons... where updates are in real time and the news doesn't get wet at the end of my driveway. |

Hard disk storage is extremely cheap today, so why the sorry excuse about computer storage issues? Spend a few hundred dollars and get a couple of external drives to back up your info in duplicate and triplicate. Heck, even DVDs are dirt cheap. Text takes up very little space, unlike graphics and photos, so what happened, did someone lose the Gannett community floppie disk?

I hadnt had anything to drink Saturday night and now I know it wasnt my foggy brain. Thanks for the explanation.

What about the two sections of inserts? I received your belated news sections. The real reason anyone gets your newspaper is for the Sunday inserts which should have already been printed. Your blurb about does not say that the rest of the home delivery will be resumed now.

From 'All the news that's fit to print' to 'all the news we haven't lost.' Good job Ryerson.
Today's secret word: BACKUPS |

I hope the "computer gods" find a way to delete all the important files of the above posters.

They must have started getting complaints and realized that people were not going to fall for their little trick. Everyone company will have problems or issues. The true character of the company is how they handle them. IndyStar failed miserably on this one. |
