The cops don't care.
Drug dealing is rampant and it has been reported and reported with NO results.

Just more "culling" goin' on. Leave them alone. Soon the neighborhoods will be safe to move back into. The drug thugs will be gone. But then the pimps and their employees will still be there.

I am always wary when the media report what type of weapon was used. Most of them don't know an assault rifle from a shotgun. They also toss around the term "semi-automatic handgun" and they don't know what they are talking about.

If drugs were legalized, this young/dead thug would still be with us.

I own a rental house in that general vicinity and it is hard to rent because of how rough the neighborhood is. I used to live in my rental house before I got married and it's a well-kept, lovely house, but the neighborhood is awful. I think much of this crime is not random and that people associate with the wrong kinds of people and put themselves in jeopardy as a result of their associations. But it doesn't really matter what the neighborhood is because I remember when those 3 kids were killed in Carmel about 14 years ago over a drug deal. Criminals drive, so no place is safe.

Now THERE is the best reason I've seen posted for legalization.
Maybe, if legalization would have happened years ago, ALL the dead thugs could still be among us.

Yep, but we'd be calling them rich CEOs of a pharmaceutical distribution network. And their employees would have all have great healthcare benefits and naturally their retirement would be different than it is now.
