1 My post name says all I need to say. You must be applying for the position of Indianapolis Village (or actually city) idiot. Although with Mitch and Bosma, you have a lot of competition. So I am the one LAMO at all you lame, whining, GOP losers. Your party is sinking faster than the Titanic. I hope you can swim... Palin for the GOP 2012 Presidential nominee. We can all use more hilarious entertain courtesy of Caribou Barbie Palin. Then again, maybe you will run John McSAME again. That too would provide a lot of laughs. Or maybe Sanford, or Vitter, or Ensign. They could run on a family values platform, or maybe a no adultery platform. Now THAT would really be funny. |

1 Trying to make a difference between the political parties is funny. They both are out for themselves ONLY. Get a clue people. |

1 REALLY? Where have you been the last 8 years? The creation of the TSA Nazis, the NSA spying, Homeland Security, no-warrant searches, phone taps, eminent domain seizures, the (un)Patriot Act don't all ring a bell? So its ok to destroy rights as long as you wrap yourself in the flag and say its American? |

This post clearly indicates what MORONS the right wingnuts have become. They are sinking lower and lower. I had to laugh last night. I was downtown and saw the "young" Republicans are having a convention here in Red State Indiana (what a surprise). When I tried to engage one of them in a debate, all he could do was recite the Limbaugh talking points. He could NOT offer any GOP positions, only that everything the Democrats are doing is wrong. The party of NO. No ideas, no alternatives, no CLUE... Like I said, a MORON. He couldn't even state what the GOP position was (on anything). He just kept reciting how Obama was a communist. What a fool he was. If he is an example of the future of the GOP, the Democrats will be in power for a LONG time. What a bunch of whining, thumb-sucking losers. I hope Palin IS the GOP candidate in 2012, so that we can laugh as she and the rest of the GOP get their asses kick AGAIN..... |

1 Keep in mind that many of the people at that rally, and many here on topix, represent a relatively small, disproportionately loud section of the Republican party. As you stated, many (especially on topix, it is really incredible the ignorance here) simply spout whatever catchphrases Rush is currently using. They do not represent the large majority of reasonable, educated Republicans who focus on actual issues. Generally speaking, I tend to vote Republican; I'm tend to lean a bit more towards the objectivist school of thought, and the Democratic party tends to lean more towards collectivism. With that said, I do vote based on actual issues, not simply along party lines; I've cast my ballot for Democrats many times. Now, I'm sure that last statement will get the Rush fundies all up in arms, but the key should always be issues, issues, issues. Anyways, my point is that you should be careful generalizing an entire political party based on the obnoxiousness of an (unfortunately vocal) minority. |

You are truly clueless as to who were at the protests. |

1 Not at all, considering I stopped by; there were many educated, reasonable people who were turning out to support their party. There were also many unreasonable people who, despite lacking much in the way of actual knowledge (getting much of their info from Rush I'd assume) decided to make themselves heard. A great example was the guy holding up the sign with the big list of people going to hell; I think he hit pretty much the whole of the US population. Not only were "Democrats" specifically listed, but he also listed "lewd dancers." Just quite random. Anyways, my point was that the side of the GOP portrayed by the media (due to the fact that they are so vocal and visible) is not the true Republican party. |

1 And not every Democrat is a communist, God-hating, abortion-loving, traitor, as portrayed by Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter and the rest of those who seem to SPEAK for the GOP. Maybe if the rank and file of the GOP does like its current image, it should chastise and disavow those (like Limbaugh) who are generating that image. But gosh, anytime a GOP politician says anything which is different than the Limbaugh Line, he has to publicly fall on his sword. The GOP is creating its own image via that mouthpieces they are allowing to speak for them. And my point above with the Young Republican convention is the same. The young man I talked realy could NOT articulate what the GOP did stand for or SHOULD stand for. All he could do was parrot Limbaugh and Hannity. This indicates that either the GOP itself HAS NO IDEAS, or they obviously are not communicating their policies to the rank and file. This young man had NO CLUE, just Limbaugh talking points. |

1 I agree with you wholeheartedly; the GOP is hostage to the vocal minority as of right now. To speak out against Rush is political blasphemy for most politicians, as they know he can and will bury them. That is exactly why I vote based on issues; I tend to vote Republican, solely because I lean more towards an objectivist school of thought. However, I've cast my vote for dems many times, because of their stances on different issues. Toeing the party line is always a bad call. |
||||
Heh, way to prove your intelligence there. |
||||
Becky? I thought you only commented in the pot thread? God, think of something new to say for Christ's sake. Literally all you are capable of saying is, "You _______ are too easy!" You are incapable of discussing actual issues in anything approaching a logical fashion. Do you really not understand how clearly your comments illustrate your ignorance? |
||||
Sorry, I was a little unfair in my last post. You are capable of more than just that one phrase, you can also repeat Rushisms endlessly and with improper context. |
||||
This is a clear example of what the GOP has become. No wonder they can't win. Hey, "Lazy" maybe you can run Saint Sarah (aka Caribou Barbie) in 2012. Or better yet, run Gov. Sanford, with Sen. Ensign as his running mate on a platform of FAMILY VALUES... that should get the GOP a lot of votes. Like I said earlier, the RNC is now Rush, Newt and Cheney... and this idiot buys into everything they say. Not to offend TRUE conservative or even moderate members of the GOP, but this guy is now the face of the GOP. If you don't like that perception, then that is your problem. We "commie liberal traitors" on the left are enjoying watching the self-destruction of the GOP with great satisfaction, and morons like this are pushing it along.(GOP will soon stand for Great OBSOLETE Party....) When you can't defend your previous administration, can't come up with ANY coherent policies other than NO, have no leadership, no direction, no ideas and NO CLUE, I would say you better get to the lifeboats boys, as the ship is sinking.... |

Lazy Looney Liberals is evidence that there is in fact inbreeding in Indiana. Education is over-rated in that family.
|
||||
So you've said this twice, but what am I "falling for" as you keep saying? And you keep saying I'm a liberal; I've said it before and I'll say it again, I generally vote Republican, but I also pay attention to actual issues rather than simply toeing the party line. As for Rush, I've told you before, he's on every day in our office. He's entertaining. The difference between you and I is that I am able to distinguish legitimate points from ratings boosters. Again, thank you for illustrating your ignorance for us. |

The wingnuts on topix are the only ones around that makes the GOP look more worthless than their politicians do.
