I swear by all that's holy, I buy water by the gallon from a reverse osmosis tap because it is proved (by their admission) that PUR and Britta do not remove flouride, they only filter out the particulates.

I definitely taste a difference in the quality, feel much better physically, and it makes AWESOME COFFEE.

We shouldn't be having a water shortage anywhere on the planet because so much of it already tastes so horrible its not potable even if it's deemed 'safe'.

Activated carbon which is most likely what pur and bitta use as a medium will remove chlorine but is 100% ineffective at removing ammonia and fluoride two highly toxic and un warranted substances purposely added to drinking water.
