You support the ideas that will sink this country into an abysmal future of wretched deteriorization. Now go soak up some more of your wealth redistribution schemes so that you might vomit them again. We know what you are. You identified yourself. You are a pathetic creature. You wouldn't know truth if it bit you on the nose. All you've done is fling childish insults. What are you, 12? Come on, "deteriorization"? WTF? Fact: The Democrats created Freddie and Fannie. Fact: The Republicans deregulated the banking industry. Fact: The Democrats fought against getting rid of Freddie and Fannie. Fact: The Republicans fought against reregulating the banking industry. Both of them together caused this crisis. Fling all the childish insults you want. You are nothing but an immature Limbaugh wannabe. You know, your butt buddy Rush does dope. Now, put down the crack pipe and call me some names. That'll certainly help.

ANON wrote: <quoted text> You wish..........It's evident that it started with Clinton. Actually many argue it actually started with Carter. That still doesn't change the fact that the Republicans played their part too. Both parties caused the problem.

Continued under Greenspan's tenure, with his encouragement, and on into the Bush administration and Republican controled house. Now you are right that it started under Clinton, but the repubs have had ample time to repair the issue, and failed to do so. Their hands are not completely clean of the incident, additionally, Alan Greenspan, a libertarian republican stood solidly behind the plan. He has since admitted his repsonsibility in the matter. It's a two party issue, not a one party or one individual. Explain to me why the Democrat controlled Congress couldn't even begin an upturn in the economy. And don't give me the old Bush veto excuse. There are ways in crooked politics to get around this.

By the way, where is your data supporting your suppostion? Where is your solid unbiased proof. Disprove me. I would be surprised if Obama/Soros could ever get security clearance.

Ah, another who has not seen the 2004 Congressional hearings where Barney Frank and Maxine Waters excoriated the poor guy who was telling them they had a problem at Fannie Mae with Frank Raines. They chided and scolded him for bringing forth the truth. Meanwhile the crook Raines was cooking the books to get his big fat bonus. And was fired a year later. The truth hurts and it is you who can not face it.

Yes the writing was on the wall with a possible housing bubble burst, however the bubble hadn't burst as of that year. The housing bubble didn't begin to burst until 2007. Oh and another thing ANON, Alan Greenspan, was still advocating consumer involvement in the subprime market as of that year.

A guarantee system by itself may not be a bad thing. Deregulation by itself may not be a bad thing. Together they're terrible. Neither side would back off. Both screwed things up together. I'm facing things just fine. You're the one ignoring half of the problem.

LOL, and again, what of the repubs inaction during a time when they held the majority of the house. You people and your selective thinking. Everything is either white or black. How truly sad!

Even when it was crumbling at it's fastest, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd said everything was fine. I guess getting kickbacks makes all the difference in the world.
