If Hillary is elected I hope we all get to smack her in the face until it's red just like the Indians.

why is it news that a female becomes president else where in the world. Many other countries have had female presidents and prime ministers. Even India's enemy next door, Pakistan, has had a female prime minister in the '80s. It seems that we are the really backwards country when it comes to giving women power. They are not even allowed in some golf courses. But then again, The south loves its history. I would be willing to bet money that any woman running for president would be least popular there. Anyway, I am not a woman but i am all for having one as president. As long as it's not C. Rice. I think she is a man in drag. Not fooling anyone. But women would help our reputation with rest of the world. Not only will we be at peace but the next time we shovel dirt on another country for mistreating women, we won't get those sly smirks of contradiction from our subjugates. Hey let's stop being influenced by war monger, thick-headed, moron hicks and move forward into equality. Sorry pres.Bush, nothing personal. Ok, i lied, it' personal.

when somebody says "the south", does that mean "blacks'??
If you can make out what was posted you'll see the reference to the South refering to my posting location Alexandria, Virginia. As though I live in the Southern "backwards country". Comment by the individual was a geographical slur against my region of the United States, not to be cofused with my racial ethnicity. Bigotry comes in all forms, not just race, color, religion, income ect...

Many Congratulations to the new female president! I think that Hilary will win here in the US...At least I will hope that she does.I think it is high time that women get into politics, into leadership, and allowed to have the same glories that men have always had.

I'm all for a female president. Condi Rice would be an excellent choice with Fred Thompson for VP or vice versa. Hillary is unelectable. Even dems are scared she might get the dem nomination and they lose the White House next election. Some dems came out in support of her even though they know she will lose in a general election, but they gain political favor with the Clinton backers. Yes, supporting a loser can be politically correct.

Maybe a woman president will be good in the future, but for now I hope and pray that Hillary WILL NOT get elected. If she does, it will be BECAUSE she is a female, not because of mqualifications. Same for Obama, who could be elected simply because he ie black.

As a matter of fact, yes. Bush is going to try to "postpone" the 2008 elections. All the papework is in place for him to dclare marshall law and there is NOTHING congress can do to change it once it happens.
