all these, and plans of IPO in 2010 going ahead, are great signs for garuda.
let's hope for the best of the revival.
what revival??? severel crash/incident in year, do you think you can revive wz such safety records??? you're lucky cos EURO revoked their ban on indon airlines... pepole don't fly b'cos of good food or good inflight entertainment, people fly b'cos they want to reach to their destinations. best way is to improve your safety records 1st, only then you aim for the rest!!! best cabin crew in 2010??? hehehe... keep dreamin'....

Dulu Garuda jelek karena memang bukan profit oriented company, tapi sekarang dgn adanya other private airlines, Garuda dah mulai berubah jadi profit oriented company. Jadi tunggulah transformasi Garuda, sekarang Garuda boleh lah diadu dgn Carrier lain di dunia.

setelah IPO akan dibuka jalur non-regular flight .... nikmatnya pesawat baru mau dibanding dng pesawat2 usang dan lama ... ah sdh bau

Garuda juga lagi order new planes. Berapa ya? Saya lupa jumlah tepatnya, tp mungkin sekitar 50an lah.

Belum lagi Mandala airlines, Batavia airlines ...

Siap2lah karena 4 Carrier tadi siap menyerbu regional ASEAN. Semoga MAS dan Airasia bisa tetap bertahan. Tak lantas bankrupt.

Saya pernah sekali naik Airasia, dan saya bersumpah ga lagi lagi naik tu carrier. Udah pesawatnya butut, kursi passengernya mepet bgt, servicenya low class (tanpa makan-saya maklumi krn memang low cost, tp haruskah pramugari2nya cemberut terus2an sepanjang perjalanan? Boro2 ngajak ngobrol, senyum aja ga pernah).

Low cost sih boleh aja, tp jgn low class dunkz.

Bwt Otoh, cobalah naik carrier yg regular, jgn terus2an naik yg low cost. Emang sih ticketnya bisa 2 atw 3 kali lbih mahal, tp sebandinglah dgn pelayanannya.

Only indon people fly indon airlines. Other people refuse to fly indon airlines due to its poor safety records. Envy??? stats speak for itself la bro,- Airasia is the best budget airline in the world, MAS is one of the top 5 airlines in the world. Where is garuda now??? check skytrax website n garuda ranked as a 3 star ranking airline, same as Airasia. For a full premium service airline to be at the same level as a budget airline... what a shame...

Garuda Indonesia will also introduce 10 Boeing 777-300ERs on new ultra long-range flights starting in 2011 as its international network expands.
The number of international departures will increase by more than 300 percent to 1,222 per week by 2014.
The Boeing 737-800NGs and A330-200s both feature Garuda Indonesia’s new signature interior, with individual touch-screen LCD TVs throughout Executive and Economy Classes with Video on Demand (VOD) entertainment systems.
The A330-200s will also feature fully lie-flat beds in Executive Class with 74-inch seat pitch.
From August onwards, Garuda Indonesia will be using their new A330-200s to open non-stop services from Jakarta-Sydney and Jakarta-Melbourne, which will offer travellers from Australia an alternative gateway to Asia.
It will also launch nonstop flights from Jakarta-Tokyo in October, and planning to return to Europe early next year.

Apa pengalaman yg unik dari serikat ini?? Yg umum tahu, pengalaman yg buruk dengan Garuda Airlines ialah pesawat sering terhempas, ban pecah, pesawat rosak dan sering kendala..

Tagline yg digunakan nggak catchy..lihat aja Singapore Airline " First To Fly", MAS "Malaysian Hospitality", British Airways "The Way To Fly", Thai Airways "Smooth as Silk", Lufthansa " All for this one moment"

Garuda Airlines perlukan rebranding semula..ini harus dilakukan secara radikal merangkumi imej, promosi, logo, nama serikat, maskapai, pelayanan dan strategi pemasaran..

Jujur..jangan dipakai lagi nama GARUDA sebagai nama serikat ini..mana ada negara di dunia selain indonesia yg pakai nama lambang negara sebagai nama serikat penerbangan..lagipun, Garuda ialah burung mitos yg ada dalam kitab agama Budhha dan sering terkait dengan banyak masalah hingga diembargo..gunakan aja nama lain spt Indonesia Airlines utk bikin comeback..nama negara juga bisa secara tersendiri dipromosi kpd turis2 di luar indonesia..
