I really don't think so about what you said about it that tourist from Malaysia. My friend had visited Kuala Lumpur before and he got arrested because the immigration people there thought he was a perpetrator because the same name of other perpetrator without seeing the date of birth and everything else. Until the embassy of indonesia there help him. My other friend visited KL in different time and he got rejected from taxi because of Indonesia. My mother visited KL and she got cheated by a taxi driver there.
If in Indonesia, people are very nice especially for tourist. Jakarta maybe dirty, but it was a very big city with many tall buildings there.
we got many places to such as, Belitung, Bali, Bunaken, raja ampat and so on that Malaysia doesn't have so they had to claim sipadan and ligitan as theirs.
Secondly, I want to emphasize that Indonesia is one of the member of G20 which is the group of high GDP states. While indonesia GDP is the highest in South East Asia, but Indonesia got a lot of citizens, so we have to divided too much just like China.

Oh by the way, do you know that Malaysia wanted to become a part of Indonesia in 1950s while they were still under the British colonial, but Sukarno rejected it, so I guess they were still angry with that. haha.
