Dear Jay: I do, indeed, have a moment, so I'd like to share with you my thoughts on palm trees, as well as other important stuff, like the fact that I haven't received my rebate check yet (could you loan me a few bucks until then?), that I am not the only columnist left at The Advocate and that I am probably more of a Stamford guy than you are. Jay, I don't think I am far off track in saying Jerry Zezima isn't assigned to cover Stamford or anything else in particular. His article doesn't appear on the op-ed pages or in the local news section.

Zez, thanks for your articles. I really look forward to reading them. I always read your article last, so after reading about everything that pushes my buttons and raises the blood pressure, I can have a laugh.

By the way, Don't make big plans for the REBATE check. I got mine and it only got me from Stamford to Maryland, and the wife even had to stay home. Oh well, I guess it wasn't that bad!!
