It sems to me that the political manipulation of the people is too easy over there.

What have you done to slovenians so bad?

What have you done to slovenians so bad?

First of all,in the former Yugoslavia the Adriatic sea was Jugoslavian sea and not Croatian sea,and all republic could go to the open sea.Republic who are by the coast are Slovenia,Croatia,Monte Negro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.Bosnian got just one coast city by the beach in the middle of Croatia sea-side.And from above the only beach that they have Bosnian,want now Croatian build the long bridge..With Slovenia got Croatian one of the problem because they wont confess Slovenian free pass to the open sea.What have they done to Sloveinans so bad?...A many of Slovenians got some litlle house or flat by the Adriatic coast in the Croatia,and now are a lot of them got a offer from Croatia to sell them by the price 1€/m2!!!Who will not sell,wont get nothing,because they will confiscation by their law....So much about Croatians and just think a litlle why they got problems with Slovenians,Bosnians,Serbians and with Monte Negros.....

give me break, a few shots over a week span and they call it a war. why dont you ask italy for some beach, take a look at the map. maybe you guys should get off of your high horse, just because you got into the EU first. if we give you a coupon to your national ski team for 100 free ski lessons will that help?

Hey, is'nt Slovenia member of the EU...Italy can now give you access to international waters..

And yes, Slovenes do own a lot of proprty on the adriatic...those are the houses we plan to confiscate and/or burn down. Go buy your houses in Italy.

The Kraijna Serbs should all be resettled in Kosovo.

Herzegovina will eventually be croatia...so there will be no issue with BiH.

Montenegro will be united with Greater Albania..

Now...doesn;t this solve all the problems....

I'm terribly dissapointed in all of my former Yugoslav countrymen, who are all so eager to settle things on the battlefield and with inappropriate insults. I hope we will someday be able to see beyond this nationalism, because it is coming from our politicians and not from the people.

I must agree with you on this issue. I too am opposed to Croatia joining the EU...Croatia has nothing to gain from being a member state...
Hence, all bilatteral negotiations should stop. Too much time and money has been wasted and that is the fault of our gov't in zagreb. For some ungodly reason they feel that the EU will bring salvation.

I would like Croatia to follow the lead of Switzerland and Norway. We do NOT need dictates from Brussels. Besides, Europe is not an innovative economically viable entity.. Nothing but welfare states whose corporations can not compete on the world stage, and by "enlarging" the EU, they feel as if they've cornered a 600 million people market.

Let Croatia have a referendum...and let the people decide.
