Yushchenko thanked Kaczynski for supporting Ukraine

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko has thanked President of Poland Lech Kaczynski for his support to the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine at the Bucharest Summit of NATO.

According to the President`s press-office, this was said at the meeting of the two President’s, which took place in Warsaw today.

The Ukrainian President also thanked Poland for supporting the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine at the Bucharest Summit of NATO.

He stressed the key role of Poland in the talks at which the Alliance was making the decision about the perspective of the Ukraine’s future membership in NATO.

Victor Yushchenko expressed satisfaction with the active development of the bilateral dialog between the two countries, having noted that only in March of 2008, several visits at the highest level took place.
