>>>The case is one of several brought recently against employers and managers who hire illegal immigrants. Since October 2007, ICE agents have made more then 1,000 criminal arrests — of workers and others_ connected to worksite investigations. Out of those arrests, 116 involved company owners, managers, supervisors or human resources employees.

Immigrant advocates have long criticized ICE, saying the agency too often targets undocumented workers while letting the employers who hire them go unscathed.

Some operations, like one at Houston-based Action Rags USA in June, have led to indictments against business owners and managers. But other large-scale raids, such as those at Swift & Co. plants across the U.S. in 2006 and at Agriprocessors, Inc. in Iowa in May, have not.<<<

I've always said;It takes time to build a case.

I think the businesses that hire illegals should be fined, shut down for a period of time and if found to be hiring illegals a second time, they should be put OUT OF BUSINESS permanently and lose their licenses and rights to own or to operate any other businesses!

If they can't adhere to the hiring laws and protocols of a legitimate business, then they need to work for someone else. They have proven they are NOT capable of running their own legitimate business entity.

The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 signed by President Ronald Reagan on November 6, 1986) is an Act of Congress which reformed United States immigration law. The Act made it illegal to knowingly hire or recruit illegal immigrants (immigrants who do not possess lawful work authorization), required employers to attest to their employees' immigration status, and granted amnesty to certain illegal immigrants who entered the United States before January 1, 1982 and had resided there continuously. The Act also granted amnesty to several million illegal aliens, and its proponents promised (PROMISED) the American public that that would be the last (LAST) amnesty granted.

Do not allow Congress to continue lying to us. Vote this Nov. to remove the pro-illegals.

There is nothing more appetizing than imagining myself eating a doughnut made by illegals without health check-ups, vaccinations or testing for contagions.

Glad I read this, they have NO chance of ever getting me as a customer.
