I think this is a fraudulent wed site. I contacted the person about a fridge. They would not give me a telephone number, the street address was erroneous. They would only accept a Western Union wire transfer. They would not allow an escrow service to assure that I received the unit. They would not allow my shipping company to pick the unit up at pay at that time.
Everything about the communications with this party smelt fishy and I would NOT recommend sending them anything unless you can absolutely verify they actually are real and have the items they claim. Nothing in our communications led me to believe that they are not an internet scam. |

Likewise -- this same person tried to get me to purchase a brand new Wolf range for $990, listed on eBay but she wanted me to complete the transaction off eBay. Same story about sick husband in hospital and wouldn't have a conversation on the phone. Also changed email addresses twice. Insisted that I wire money through Western Union -- everything about this smells of internet fraud. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!

I just stumbled across this person on Craig's list and in searching for pricing stumbled on this forum this is an obvious scam the e-mail on the current Craigs list does not match the above but the supposed inventory and story does....

I found this thread by Googling Wolf DF366.
I am watching an auction for one on Ebay right now. The seller has 0 feedback and only joined last November. I emailed the seller with some specific questions and they offered the Wolf to me for $960 shipped when the auction still has 20 hours to go. I responded by basically asking "what gives, this is too good to be true" and she responded that she wasn't forcing me to buy it and that her husband was in the hospital and they were just trying to make room in their house, etc. As much as I want a new Wolf DF366 for $960, if it sounds too good to be true, IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. Thanks to all for spreading the word on this scam. |

Thank goodness I found this thread. I also was watching the same Ebay auction on a Wolf DF366 range. The seller stated to email them (husband & wife) first before bidding. So I did. And they basically said they will sell it for $990 shipped, which means it would be an outside Ebay transaction. This person took it off of Ebay and repost it again. All of the bidders history had zero feedback score.

This is definately a scam!! We almost bought into it ourselves. Thank God for this site!!! They have four listings right now going and I feel really bad that someone can get scammed. I also reported it to eBay.
