I'm part Cherokee...my great-grandmother walked the "Trail of Tears" So, to me this has always been a Native American Indian Poem... However, some people disagree and state the Mary Elizabeth Frye, wrote the poem..but, not too sure about that (her's is slightly different...To me, it will always be American Indian Poem.. So pleased that it might help some to get through these horrible times... Oh, I'm from the West..but, at this time in life, I'm being held hostage in the East!

If I am not mistaken, Merck also is the maker of the Swine Flu vaccine. I heard now that the flu season has reached its peak, which was in October, and there will be no need for the vaccine. Due to production errors however, they didn't get the amounts produced in time to the clinics and hospitals, and now they are going to be late getting the abundance of vaccines out, they have to get rid of it, but no one really needs a flu shot now and the flu epidemic is being found out to be more of a hoax. Now what is really scary, they cannot dump this in the rivers, because of the toxins, but yet can inject it into the body of a 6 year old. Click on Natural News. com and read about it, it's scary and the same company manufactured the deady Vioxx. And like Vioxx, this flu vaccine has not even really passed safety standards, but yet people cannot wait to get this injected into their bodies, they are doing it because they are living out of fear of getting this much dreaded so called flu bug, which is another scare tactic. This makes Jim Jones and the cyanide episode look like a fairy tale, I mean he did no worse, now come on. History repeats itself, and like Vioxx you wait and see, it will be found out the vaccine is more deadly than the flu itself. And yet Merck will make billions off of this, I mean why should they worry, if people dies by the masses, so what, a low fine and they still get to keep their big profits.

My mother my mother died less than 7 months ago due to Vioxx. She was a local author in Ellijay Ga had a very adventurous life. Her life was taken March 31st 2009 by a massive heart attack. I never got to say good bye to her and thats what hurts the most all my life growing up she tought me how to be a good mother but never once explained to me how to tell the grandbabies when she past away Now here I am all alone in this hatefull world at 26 years of age with two children age 9 and 6 tryin to make it out here. Me and my 2 sisters got an ofer for 125,000 dollars and I just dont think its enough what they can offer is to give my mother her life back and bring her back wich will never happen I feel 125,000 dollars divided by three just isnt enough for the loss of our mother I HATE THESE PEOPLE THAT INVENTED VIOXX and I pray for them every night because God only knows how many more people are goin to suffer for this ignorant pill called vioxx!!! Good luck to all you vioxx survivors and I feel for each an every one of you that has lost someone they love to this so called pain pill Pain pill = pain and suffering from loosin a loved one

Raleigh & Lost One -- So so very sorry for your loss. I too lost my Mom to vioxx in 2004. I miss her every day. Good Luck to All!
Pharmgirl - Love reading your posts, please stay with us. You are always filled with great information. I refuse to take the flu shot.....and I am glad I didn't. I didn't know who manufactured it, but thanks to you....my question has been answered. Keep up the good detective work.

I was in the suit and told by these lawyers I would be included in settlement 2 months ago, then shortly after got a letter saying they could not get any information on his medical since he died over 9 years ago. So to bad to sad go away..... What???!!! is going on. Has anyone else heard this junk in writing? Daisy: You have to continue to pursue this. Your husband would want you to. My Dad passed away as well in 2000. The records are there - you can do it. My thoughts are prayers are with you and yours.

Whoa, I am sorry I didn't respond, I don't come here often. I love the poem, I have read it before, but it is beautiful. My husband and I were married 29 1/2 years, didn't quite make it to 30, but he was my best friend, we have known each other since we were 4 years old and we grew up together and were friends a long time before we got married. He was my soul mate and my world! When I lost him I lost a huge part of what made me who I am and it is gone forever. They stole that from me and from our daughters. We had a grandson when he died and they were so close, but now we have 2 grand daughters that he never got to know and they will never know him! Such a great loss for all of them. I miss him every day even if it has been almost 9 years. I still love him today and I always will. I hate those people and hope that someday they come to know just what they have done to so many people and what a cost we all had to pay for their greed.

Is there anyone out there who is an MI case that has their case under special review? I read on Brown Greer's site from the last settlement hearing that it is expected that all MI claimants will be receving checks in November. My husband has not heard anything from his law firm.

Ok I found these papers, it makes me sick to look at them. Because I took vioxx also for over a year they filed a claim on me and my husband. When he passed away the shortly later recalled it and I stopped taking it. I have so many health problems anyway I didn't push the doctors on mine but i submitted everything on his. This is what the denial letter said. The independent settlement administrator that was established by the court overseeing all vioxx cases has determined that ***** case eas deemed ineligible under the nationwide settlement agreement. We have appealed the ineligibility decision to a second committee, but unfortunately we have lost that appeal and you were again deemed ineligible. We will no longer be representing you in your vioxx case becasue we do not believe that you have a meritorious vioxx case. Specifically, we are unable to get an expert report demonstration that you suffered a cardiovascular injury as a result of vioxx ingestion. best of luck. So tell me which doctor's specifically said this person took vioxx and died. I mean it was in his medical records he was taking it, in his system, taking it for heal spurs and did not have a heart problem at all. He died of a massive heart attack. It exploded!!. WHAT??!!! I am sorry like I said it makes me sick.. to even read these papers. so now what do i do? find a doctor to put in writing that the man did not have a heart condition and then died of one after taking medicine? This doctor is gone too now by the way. Daisy

My husband died July 2005. He had taken Vioxx for years and when it came off the market in Sept.'04 he was switched to Celebrex. I never filed a claim or researched this at all, but it has been on my mind lately. Is it too late to do anything about this. Is there a class action suit I could be part of?

Did they do an autopsy? You need to know exactly why they say he died.

Ok it seems the more I try the worse it gets. I have called and emailed this law firm for weeks now and NO ONE will even call me back. I have asked for a return call, send me my documents and all my evidence back anything. No answer. Itruly think they used my stuff to help win, which I don't mind, but then don't even have the nerve to return a call or an email. The death certificate clearly states Myocardial infarction also. But my husband had no previous heart condition. The only medical treatment he ever got was from the heal spurs and arthritis, the reason he was even taking this crap.(medicine)They did not do an autopsy because first he was listed as an organ donor and while I was outside the hospital making a call to my other children they came and said because of his arthritis he was not able to and then nect thing I know he was at the funeral home doing the embalming (spelling) and he was to be creamated. So it was to late to change or do anything. I can still get most of the medical records from the hospital but not the doctors, because they too, have gone to a better place. OHHHH it just makes me so angry and sick!

My mother had a bad stroke and lost the use of her left side, thank GOD she didnt pass.Someone has to be there all the time to assist her, sometimes she crys, about thing she cant do by herself anymore. I was taking it for post back surgery and it caused my stomach to bleed.(guess I was lucky)I missed out on the filling date. I have been reading your stories and its hard to believe that (leagle drug pushers)gets buy with so much! Even our doctors(that we trust so much)pushes this poison on us.The amount awarded isnt a drop in the bucket for the pain, and sorrow they have inflicked.Maybe they should have to take their own medicine?May GOD bless you all,and I feel for you,for I know your sorrow.....
