1 Columbus lets every major artery go to pot. Let's hope that having a TIF in place at Easton means that the area can be kept up like it should be. |

I used to work at Polaris Fashion Place. Polaris Fashion Place is a teenager hangout also. However, Mall Security does their best to keep the kids in line. Easton has Security and Columbus PD to try to keep the punks in check.

1 That is a very scary WalMart - I won't go there at night. The parking lot looks like a herd of zombies has trashed it, and too many of the patrons inside look ready to go bonkers. |
||||
That's the way to say things, Thinker. I'm too politically correct to speak out, but the imagery you used made the point without seeming cruel. |

" If you can't be a part of the solution do not be a part of the problem". I try to live by that motto daily. I can only say don 't go to Walmart. I go there, why, because all of us need to be exposed to all types of customers. Everyone is so wrapped up in their small worlds. That's what wrong with the world, we are so critical of one another. And another thing, Easton is just fine. And I'm a senior citizen and I drive a Benz, but I feel no better than anyone else. |

The only WalMart I feel safe in is the one in Dublin. The rest are downright scary!!

1 Reynoldsburg, Hilliard, Stringtown, Circleville, Newark, Lancaster and Canal Winchester are all okay. Notice a pattern here? All outside of I-270!!! |

1 Macy's was unable to find an acceptable buyer so it has to keep operating both stores under the terms of its agreement with the mall developer. I'm sure they would love to close the other store if they could. |

I'm from out of state but even around here sometimes when I go to our aging Mall (Concord Mall) and a really bad Mall I won't visit (crime area) I think of the movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" come to life or else the "Back To the Future" one with Biff's world and that is casinos in the Phila. area... Would this be Easton Town Canter in 20 years? I'd say unlikely. |

you are tired!! You are the type that LABELS everything new as Disney like. Get over it, nothing old is being built, everything built is NEW!! |

Someone said Georgian architecture is tired..Georgian architecture is timeless & an all brick structure is safer in a region known for tornadoes....Bricks withstand the wind better than cheap vinyl siding,etc....Also a certain unifornity of architectural styles is more attractive than variety of trendy styles...The Palladian windows can be a bit much when they are seen on garage doors....The concept of back alleys for garages is timeless & dates back to the carriage house concept of early American architecture and my grandparents had their garage in back of their house as a separate structure on an alley backing and shared with houses in back of them....Washington DC and Middleberg VA & Philadelphia & Virginia have some timeless colonial architecture. Williamsburg,VA etc...Governor's Palace,etc...Kind of unusual for Ohio but it was a brave choice and certainly seems more weather-proof. Of course, everyone doesn't ride horses so to aspire to that lifestyle seems a bit artificial but that's life.

Why do you think I'm moving? |

Just promise your new address won`t have internet access. Think of the grief you could save other people. |

From what i can see alot of the ghetto people were mad when there northland mall closed. Now alot of ghetto are at Easton causing trouble. Polaris does not have to worry about all the people who cause trouble because it is to far away. I dont think Polaris or tuttle has ever had to worry about horrible people or gheto people. Its sad here you are trying to shop and run errands and you have to think, did i park in a safe place? I think if anything Easton Security does a good job with the size of staff they have. Thank god there are alot of cameras to watch people. my hat goes off to people who work at easton and have to deal with a wide variety of people.

well iam not from here but in california in l.a. this is what easton reminds me of. To rid yourself of the gang bangers you need more security and as for the ghetto people you will also have to clamp down on them as well. its about coming down hard on those who should not be there in the first place but to cause trouble. If you cant behave, stay home. In Los angeles you are warned 2 times do not act up or you will not be allowed to come here again. They actually took your picture and if the camera saw you it would notify the person watching the camera this person was here. I dont know if easton has that technology but they did in the mall where i shopped. Sooner or later hopefully you will get this under control. As for Wal-mart shopping there after dark can be dangerous. i have heard of people having problems there and sams club can be scary also.and yes ghostryder i agree you see some weird people and scary walking around wal-mart

1 except for the traffic disasters on Brice rd and Sawmill Rd.., the goofy new and improved morse rd I270 interchange where you can no longer get to and from SR161 from Morse Rd., the Eastland Mall that you can see from the freeway, but you really can't get to it. |
