President Bush will live in Dallas after leaving office

What a surprise ! Returning to his oil cronies as he came from prior to his rise as a President seems to be a fitting retreat from the economic disaster that has occurred on his watch- as well as the largest monetary take by his friends during his tenure. Golden parachutes for the oil CEO's while the everyday, hardworking American was being raped at gunpoint by these same CEO's- yes President Bush did make sure the rich got richer and what about the other 80% of us? Yes Mr Bush, go back to live in Dallas- your buddies should treat you very well.

This just proves the whole Bush image is a farce. Crawford was a movie set never a working ranch. Elitist Bush a Texan is a joke. Bush is no dummy because he was able to fool most of the U.S. about his life, his background, and his morals.

I live in Dallas and I hope to God I never run into George Bush, he makes me sick to my stomach. He will go down in history as the worst president ever. I hope he can now look back and think about how he crippled the US and futher alienated it from the rest of the world.

I'm sure there's some extra space down in Gitmo for Georgie W. Bushie!!!!!!!! Or would the accomodations be too extravagent for the former president????????

rightous truth you are right,but it was not a farce, but a myth created to get him elected. Just check out the use of his chain saw work, no saw dust. then each time a news hound broad cast from the ranch they used that old barn and the old farm machinery for props. the oil man bidness was a myth to. check out his real life bidness background at your local library and you will see it is a myth. He was no veteran hero either,.. One guyI overheard in a cafe in Oklahoma thought he was a fighter pilot jock in Vietnam, I broke his heart when I told him he was in the champayne air force in texas and never left the father land. i on the other hand think bush done excellent. he admits to where he was wrong and that he was wrong alot. im trying to give obama a chance (eventhough he seems to be a marksist) and i wish him the best of luck but taxes will go up and it will be nearly impossible for him to fix the economy. americans dont realize how limited the presidents power is. for the past two years congress has been run by democrats. and in the pass two years is when the economy goes down. do u see the connection. i will admit that some was bushes fault but you also need to blame congress for some of the problems. and if you want to say im wrong then study up on checks and balances. All I hear is how we republicans are to be civil and play nice so the new president can succeed at his job. Well I can tell you democrats that if that is going to happen then this "Bush bashing" has got to stop.

Hope senator Kennedy is going to be alright. That in itself is proof that there is a God who punishes evil men. I guess its better to go like that then drowning at the bottom of a river.

Dallas doesn't need to pay a million dollars a year for police presence at his house like has been suggested it will cost. Let him go back to Crawford and live there he is just another Joe Schmoe now he already has secret service protection if he wants all that extra protection let him pay for it himself.

It was said Laura wanted to move to Dallas but I think it was George's idea so he could be close to SMU that is going to have his presidential library that is if enough of his rich friends can buy his way onto campus. It is said that SMU wants cash first and then the Bush sycophants can build the library. With all his worthwhile memories they should put it on the parking lot of Moody Coliseum it could accommodate a small building that would be adequate.
