Unemplyment up - production down, inflation rising, incomes going down. Swell.
What do you expect? You can't print money like there's no tomorrow, run multi-trillion dollar deficits, import the vast majority of your energy needs and not have IMPLOSIVE-INFLATION!
The economy - what's left of it, will continue to implode; after all, America doesn't 'make' anything any more - other than debt; and both the interest and principal payments on the absurd levels of debt we've voluntarily undertaken will sink us as sure as we're on the rocks, the pumps have failed and taking on water.
The middle-class is history - as is the American Dream {now a nightmare}.
Abandon ship, sell your property for whatever you can get for it - now, and convert the money {the US Dollar} into something like a real currency [the Swiss Franc]. Once that's done look for another country to live in. America's been taken over by the illegals, their spawn, the entitlement classes, the gang-bangers, the Chinese, the Indians and OPEC.
It was a nice run - while it lasted; will the last one out please blow out the candle?

Obama's $10 trillion deficit and his reckless spending policies are to blame. All the debts will have to be repaid somehow, and with a raging recession and continues to last, the only thing the Fed can do is to print more money, and that will cause inflation.

Obama's economic policies will hit the American people in several fronts: higher inflation, higher interest rate, higher unemployment rate and a prolonged recession.

Obama's quest to take posession of the economy has caused so much chaos in the economy. Voters need to make sure that Obama is a one-term president before this country is completely destroyed.

These numbers are only the tip of the iceberg and are really smoke and mirrors.
The REAL unemployment level in the USA is closer to 20%!
Add in those not counted in the 'official' figures: those who've exhausted their unemployment insurance benefits, the self-employed, the under-employed {those working either part-time or who've taken a position at less than they were earning in their last position} and the unemployable/those who haven't been employed in recent history, and you've got at least DOUBLE the 'official' figure as a REAL unemployment level in the USA.
Depending on your geographic location, race and skills the unofficial level may be much higher, e.g. in inner-cities [Detroit, Cleveland, Akron, Dayton, Canton, Muncie, Milwaukee, Chicago, Gary, East LA, etc, etc]- perhaps approaching half/50% in some areas.
What I really don't understand is how the political hack quacks can even suggest raising taxes on the ever fewer and fewer taxpayers left standing. Keep disincentivizing people and... they'll leave {the country}. England kept pushing up their tax rates in the 1960's and 1970's - instead of dealing with their antiquated infrastructure, entitlement costs, etc, and a 'brain'drain' resulted - people with 'brains' left the country!
Keep pushing the already endangered species of the ever shrinking middle-class/kill the American Dream and see who supports the entitlement recipients, illegals and their spawn then!
My passport's current and I'm looking... ELSEWHERE! America's... history; it's time to look to the future in a place that has one.

If President Obama and Tim-Turbo-Tax-cheat-Geithner keep saying things "are getting better," only his supporters in groups like the unions and ACORN still believe him.

The Chinese know the truth.

And the millions of stores and small businesses threatened with extinction because shoppers have stopped coming, and proposed measures like cap-and-trade and the government health care will burden them even further know the President is lying.

The US is becoming a nation of have-nots (the hard working, tax paying women and men) and entitled-to-someone-else's-pro fits (welfare recipients, legislators, Obama's czars).

<quoted text> Since the early 1980's advertising has steadily increased, reaching a point today where it is incessant. The advertising message in a nutshell has been: BUY ANYTHING, BUY SOMETHING, AND BUY IT NOW!!! Currently, television sitcoms are having tidbits cut from shows, allowing another commercial or two to be played during half-hour episodes. The bottom line - incomes have been falling for many years, and those who are currently working while considering financing a home purchase today, had better think "A THOUSAND WAYS TO SUNDAY, BEFORE THEY SIGN ANY 30 YEAR MORTGAGE DOCUMENT." Having said that, it's not wise to buy in a vacuum.
The only commericals I am seeing all connect to this health care, pushing pills, what types of signs you might have for a disease, or a lawyer trying to get you to sue cause you MIGHT have a disease.. or hospitals who claim they are better at curing your disease than the next hospital.. it's disgusting.. I would rather see products on commercials since I don't really like to shop just to shop I don't care what they TRY to sell me for my home, if I don't need it I don't buy it. but those health care ones are depressing..

I wonder how Obama/Biden/Pelosi are going to be able to blame that on Bush and Cheney like they have everything else. In the past the Democrats blamed gas prices soaring were due to big oil being in bed with Bush/Cheney/Republicans. Must be a big bed. Guess Obama/Biden/Pelosi and the Dems are in it too.

Dev, you are 100% correct.
To learn WHY liberals are like they are, watch the and absorb the video "How Modern Liberals Think". I'll put the link in at the end.
To liberals, their ideas are helpful!
They think they are are helping humanity! How?
...Because they want everything "equal". Normal people want things better, but Modern Liberals reject this.
They have to tear at success to make things "equal." This is why they never apologize or change course when their ideas create and foster hopelessness, despair and death.
Look at the inner cities: over 40 years of intense liberalism and they won't change course. In the mean time, how many lives have they ruined??? Remember, you can't blame Bush or "the last 8 years" as they have been running things in the inner cities since the 60's - not coincidentally when the problems really started getting bad.
So what we are dealing with is people who have an entirely different belief system than normal people. Once people understand this, it gets easier to deal with them.
Here is the link. This talk is very, very good:

That was a good link I sent it out about a month ago to all those I know voted for Obama or were regular Democrats and NOT progressives who are confused at all this taxing of the middle class.. they have gone to the Independent side and many are working on the Republican side for local elections in 2010.. they said they can take the extra religion for common sense..

The tipping point is close, maybe by the end of the year. Unemployment accelerates to a government number of 12% but everyone now knows it's a lie. The mass media begin to drop their collective adulation and start to question eight months of legislative chaos and insanity. Pressure mounts and the rank and file politicians begin to understand the fragile odds of keeping their cushy jobs in 2010. Conservative independents will look like the only sane people left as Dems and the GOP see people leaving their base. And someone will finally emerge as the face and voice of a new movement to stop the decline of this once great country.

I hope.

don't feel to bad sooooooooo many that voted for him are.. and they are helping the Republicans in 2010.. I am making my own signs telling what these Democrats voted for Like Debbie Halverson voted for Cap and Trade and I think a nice sign remind voters of that fact will be effective and posted right outside the legal limit to post these signs..

Please explain to me how Obama is responsible for $10 trillion in debt. Last I checked the debt in 2000 was only half what it was when the conservative government of GWB lost power eight years later. right now we are working off a budget passed b/4 Obama was even elected Please keep your lies to yourself.
The real blame should be placed at the feet of the conservative movement's leadership for 20 of the past 28 years. In 1980 when Reagan took office the US was the number one exporter in the world of finished goods the number one importer of raw materials and the number one creditor nation in the world. Fast forward through the consevative revolution and the exact oppostite is now true. We are now the largest importer of finished goods the largets exporter of raw materials and the biggest debtor nation in the world.
wonder where all the jobs went? Blame it on the poor leadership of the conservative movement.

If you're still happily munching chocolates and all sorts of other goodies, you'll have to take yourself in hand at some point during the coming fortnight.
