"The Federal Housing Finance Agency, which has been operating Freddie Mac since last fall"????

What nonsense is this? Congress has had control since 2006.

How can you tell?

They continue to run although bankrupt.

They continue to give money to those who have not earned it and can not afford to pay it back.

They are on their 4th CEO in 2 years, all Congressionally appointed.

They still see no problem with how they're running it.

While private industry is paying back money, they are still leaching.

They have yet to provide a full accounting of their debts.

In a nut shell, you can tell Congress is running it because it's still losing a lot of money and no one cares.

Let Morgan Stanley ask for another $5 billion, see how the lefties in Congress would react to that.

The debacle is the fault of the Democrat Party, namely Barney Franke, Maxime Waters and the other boobs that wanted home ownership for people without the ability to afford a home. The current bailout will only prolong the inevitable, the buyers rescued will default again. Why are we not investigating Franklin Raines, Rahm Emanuel, Jamie Gorelick and the other Dem hacks who ran this organization into the ground?

Uhhhh...because of the "annointed one"??? Amazing, isn't it???!!! And they think they can manage "health care" reform...

OK...so let me get this straight. The gov't wants everyone to reel in their debt load cuz on a personal level it is not sustainable, but it is OK for the gov't to do it???!!!

Absolutely insane. Does anyone remember what happened to Germany after WW 1??? They printed a bunch of money and the money became "worthless". How does the current administration think they are any different??? Oh, I know, they'll blame the Jews, right? Or, uh, maybe the backlash will be against minorities (instead of the Jews) that took advantage of the lending practices. Once they get the legislation passed for saying we're "sorry for slavery", that'll set the table for reparations. When that happens, look out all you modern era taxpayers who owned slaves!!!

What has this country come to????

Daily Horoscope for November 9

Taurus

The Moon continues to pass through your fourth house of home and family, making it a little bit harder for you to get out of bed this morning. Try to take things slowly and enjoy time with your family this morning; there's no need to start the day off by fighting. You might have to give more than you receive today; try to do so with a smile.
