ok worthless story where do you go for the help? phone number ? guide lines ? you really don't tell anything.one shouldn't be supprised after all it is wfmz a local station !

also so one has to wait till they are forclosed on to get any help ? what about the people who are just bareley holding on ? i guess one has to wait till they loose everything else before any help is given.

Yes, they should have printed a contact # for people. But if it is in reference to Lehigh County, then one would think that you should call the County Office(s). They should be able to direct these people to who they need to contact. These people also are sent a notice with contact names as well. It is a rough time for all and if the opportunity is there for people to contact a lending facility to re-finance their mortgage, at lower rates and payments it is up to them to take responsiblity and do so. Why would anyone in their right mind let things get this far out of control?

how is reduction in payment going to help? I heard of someone who got this "help" and the reduction is only for 3 months?? What the heck? that isn't a solution, that is a bandaid. in 3 months they will be back to where they started again.

and 600,000 mortgage?...no one and I mean no one, has to live in a house that costs 600,000. If you can't afford it, then move!

this is a good program for most people. but you have to be realistic. ifsomeone is jobless and doesnt have the financial ability to pay the bank the arrears on the loan then what? but for people that got behind due to sickness, loss of job or whatever then those people should be given a chance. If the income is there they should be given another chance. there are people that are living in 300 to 400,000 dollar homes that they really cant afford from the beginning.

you go to community action in bethlehm pa on broad street ask for the diversion program
