Anyone sticking up for what BofA is doing is either a moron or complicit. I hope to hell BofA tanks for stabbing their good customers in the back with the jacked up rates. All the silly crap posted by BS spotter has nothing to do with me and my dealings with BofA.

There is no way to respond to the ignorant other than to suggest they come to admit that fact and go study.
The writers who take glee that "they" deserve a loss, in their many illiterate constructions, seem to think "they" is some class of evil owners, which is the result of our poor education system. The socialist argument is good for the simple mind. Bank of America is owned by pension funds, retirement accounts, little old ladies, and so on. "They" buy things, eat food, and go to the movies. WHen the stock collapses, they stop feeding the economy. The managers of B of A get a salary. Some find these salaries pointlessly high, the shareholders vote in the board that approves these salaries. If they are hurt, and many votes are controlled by funds, can change the culture. No one is sitting in a B of A office figuring out ways to screw morons. However, mistakes are made. Indifference happens. This is where polite complaints work, followed by hiring a lawyer. IF you really think B of A is stealing money and running up its stock for owners - buy some shares. Duh. |

B of A will go down, just like countrywide. The consumers doesn't trust the banking system anymore.
So, People would rather lived what they have than dealing with these oxymorons. |

Bank of America abuses their good customers. I call in and try to get my usury rate reduced on my credit card, but they will not let me speak to a manager. The CRS cannot do anything and the "supervisor" they rarely let me talk to cannot do anything either. Even though I have "good credit" and pay on time, my credit card rate has been jacked up to almost 30%. This is nothing but loan sharking. How much is Ken Lewis's yearly bonus? How much does B of A spend on advertising? I'm pissed off, in fact, I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore. How about you?

I had all my eggs in one basked with B of A - lost my shirt - I did. First house I ever had - never missed a payment - sold at a $50,000.00 loss just to clear B of A. Now owe credit cards of $14,000.00 and can't pay 'em cause I took a job paying about half my normal pay (only job available) cause of the down economy. Well now that I paid off the loan - and lost all my money - now I can't afford to pay the credit cards. So - I have become a BAD person - when all along I was a "good" customer. Guess what I did - I wrote 'em a letter - detailed my financial picture (not good) and told em that I couldn't afford to pay - not one cent - and, made their job easier - reported myself to the "dreaded" bureaus. I would rather live my life WITHOUT FEAR OF THREATS FROM B of A and others, thank you. If more of the citizens were to take a stand against the corporate greed in this country and FIGHT back - as I have done - then, maybe we could regain our control of this nation which is currently in the hands of corporate greedy ones and a government which cowtows to them.

I pulled my money out of BOA a long time ago! I also would not put my money in Wells fargo! I went to a Credit Union for my banking needs!

I will have to be doing the same thing - I can see the hand-writing on the wall and, frankly, it doesn't feel safe to continue banking with such an institution which would exploit its good customers. Credit Unions - huh? I will check into that. Thanks neighbor. |

I also had my fixed rate changed to a variable rate. This bank is going to go under if it doesn't let people make the payments they originally agreed upon. |
