After reviewing my past comments, sadly, I realize I must come off as a bitter, sad, and frustrated vigilante. I want you to know... I love living in Midlothian.. I love the ethnic diversity, the low taxes, and yes ..the police.(they were here within 3minutes of my 911 call). I know my neighbors, I'm happy with the schools, and its a small enough community where everyone has a voice. I've lived in the city.. I've lived in the suburbs. Midlothian offers the best of both worlds. But we can ALWAYS do better! Crime is everywhere. We need to be good neighbors/good citizens, if we want to improve our lives. Special Thanks to those neighbors who called police on those three crooks! Thanks to all our neighbors who take the time to get to know the people on the block, Thanks to people like you , who care enough about a local community, to spend a bit on time on-line learning , sharing whats going on in your life.... IcecreamMan, I can feel your anger through your posts and understand it. I would have felt violated as well if some criminals broke into my home and stole valuable items from me and my family.

We work hard and sacrifice ourselves to give our families the best we can so some thugs who don't care about anybody can come and take away not only our property, but the peace of mind and happiness our families deserve. It's not fair at all.

Although you have every right to be upset, my only advise is to be cautious about naming people in your posts. Unfortunately, you can be the best parent and your children still opt to go in the wrong direction. I think we've all made choices in the past that were not welcomed or approved by our parents. I know I did, although it wasn't about breaking the law or to purposely hurt others. If that were the case my parents would had dealt with it harshly, including turning me in to the authorities themselves if needed.

Let's thank GOD that these thieves have been arrested and most important of all that none of your family members were harmed or injured physically as a result of this criminal act. I'm sure there is some psychological hurt and hopefully with time and love that will cure as well.

It seems there is enough evidence to get these men (I don't consider them kids) in jail and pay for what they did to you, your family and other families in the area. They deserve to be punished. Let's hope our judicial system does the right thing.

Wow!.. I cant agree more.. Good reply! The pain in this mans heart..the frustration he feels, hope he can focus Love and care to his family, his friends.. Don't waste it on hate!
As for the trio of burglars, well.. they are adults, the is NO evidence their parents, siblings ,(even that Grandparent) knew. Blame the trio..let them deal with THEIR actions , pray for the families of these 3.. the parents did their best.. they are on their own now!

I live right down the street from one of these, ahem, fine upstanding young men..... I had my house broken into a couple years ago and I have a pretty good idea who might have done it now. I'd tell the police this, but they basically told me not to bother when I brought them the list of all the things that were taken. The officer actually told me that it was a "waste of time" because all the stuff had already been pawned or fenced by then. I have heard nothing from them since it happened almost 3 years ago.

the way to deal with the low life is to put out his windows a few times or give to town tire shop some work,

Ok if there great people or so called model citizans.Then why where they caught with lap tops and other personal stuff and not weed?And so for the great family name look up the court records not too good hun?

You dont need to be up in there day to day lives if you dont know them personally. & they couldnt find the weed, the day after they were caught the cops raided the house & found a couple pounds but i guess you can say they got caught in the moment being in the house & not finding any weed. No one said they were great people or model citizens they messed up and have to learn from it. For people to say their alone, thats why they have families idk what kind of family you live in if they dont stick with you through the thick and thin.
