What a great article. I fell for catmints a year or so ago. One of their advantages is that they die back to the ground every winter and thus are able to survive the freezing inland temperatures of our area. I ordered several from Digging Dog Nursery, which has a large selection, and have to admit that most of them have so far not lived up to their glowing catalogue descriptions. The one that has is "Snowflake." It, along with the other three mentioned above, are my own picks of the lot, and in my opinion the most ornamental of them all is the stunning "Walker's Low."
