Think..........the only one I have heard call anyone names is YOU. You may do it by redirection but ya do it... don't ya think that by now pretty much everyone posting has figured out that YOU ARE NOT CREDIBLE? And Mendo Local? Yeah I finally did tell him to move somewhere today but only because he had told me to several days ago when he couldn't bend the blogs mind because we dissenters were messing with him! Ha

Last year over 180 people were charged with growing marijuana commercially, and over 95% of them were convicted. Because of this we have the highest asset seizure rate in the whole state. This bust is no different that what has happened ever year for the last 30. I would hardly call that proof of anything. We are second highest asset forfeiture rates, LA county is first.

THis is another small medical grow along with the one in Island Mtn. with 6,772 plants, 800 lbs. of processed bud,$120,000 in cash and 14 firearms. The pro pot crowd says this had nothing to do with Measure B. In reality, Measure B is exactly why this grow was taken down and the perps were arrested. Measure B signaled a clear change in priorities. Measure B gave law enforcement a green light to go after the commercial growers. Measure B is a call to action by all the people who are fed up with the criminals who are trying to take over our county. And here is the proof that things are different, they arrested a dozen people! No longer are we just interested in driving up the plant count. We are going to hold the growers accountable. That is why we had the extra forces from other counties, to prevent escapes. Commercial growers should be on notice that we are not just coming for your plants, we are coming for you! The neighbors who are fed up with these problem growers need to keep the calls coming. And you shouldn't make false charges without the facts to back it up. Get a grip on reality.

just asking wrote: <quoted text> The latest info from the Sheriff (see below) is 6,772 plants, 800 pounds of processed bud, 12 suspects arrested, 14 guns seized, and $108,000. in cash. Looks like the UDJ was under reporting. Has K.C. sold out to No on B? "On 7/16/2008 The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office, Mendocino County Major Crimes Task Force,County of Mendocino Marijuana Eradication Team and the State Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement, assisted by the Humboldt County Task Force, Napa Special Investigation, DEA, Immigration Customs Enforcement Officers, Lake County Narcotics Task Force, Sonoma County Task Force,CAMP, Redding and Sacramento BNE Marijuana Investigation Teams and the West Contra Costa Narcotics team served four search warrants on five locations in the Island Mountain area of Mendocino County. The area is in the far north east part of Mendocino County and is very remote. As a part of a long investigation it was learned that suspects were growing large quantites of marijuana in a series of greenhouses that was being sold commercially out of the area. The case revealed that the property owners were probably responsible for the operations. During the investigation the greenhouses that were photographed were similar at all the locations. It was suspected that all the locations were associated. The listed agents served the warrants along with a warrant for the residence of Scott Graves in Trinidad, Humboldt County. Seized at the Island Mountain Locations were 6772 marijuana plants, 6 rifles and 8 handguns and approximatly 800 pounds of processed bud marijuana. The listed suspects were arrested at three of the locations and several more suspects fled into the woods on the agents arrival. Four suspects were arrested on immigration holds and violations. The agents serving the warrant in Trinidad Ca. located and seized $53,000.00 cash. There was $55,000.00 seized on the Island Mountain property. This type of an operation is going to be targeted in Mendocino County. The large commercial growing operations in the remote areas of the county will be sought out, investigated and eradicated. Both Sheriff Tom Allman and District Attorney Meredith Lintott were at the scene in Island Mountain. Lintott said she is committed to working with the Sheriff to prosecute these criminals. Sheriff Allman said that he is going to provide the support and equipment to investigate large commercial operations and work with the agencies that request Sheriff's Office assistance." Just another small medical grow.
