It seems the UDJ likes to inflate the facts just a little. According to the MSO press release posted on their website, 4,000 plants - not "more than 4,000 plants" were seized. They seized 300 pounds - not "350 pounds". 10 suspects arrested - not "12 suspects".$50,000 cash - not "$100,000 cash". There was a second location in Humboldt County where they seized $50,000. The firearms were seized at the first site not the second. Makes on wonder how many other articles have been inflated.

Just think of how many other articles they did this to. The only reason is to start controversy. It's what the UDJ did regarding measure B. It was a fear campaign.

UDJ! What a joke, definetly a political agenda here. Makes me wonder how many other stories they manipulate. Pretty sad, is the truth to much to ask for when reading the paper!

Don't blame the paper. Clearly the reporter got his information from Allman. If Allman told the reporter something different than what was later put in the incident report, that's not the reporter's fault. It's all a big conspiracy theory though, right?

Yes, if you are a doper the UDJ, Allman, MCSO, UPD and the gay alliance of purple martians are out to get you.....get real!

Just wait until "Reality Checker" and "Think" spin this. According to them the 4000 plants will be for 666.66667 blind needy marijuana patients and if you don't believe these numbers of patients exist then: according to "Think" you are a rascist, Nazi, Fascist, Nazi Pig!

Clearly a medical grow, you know!

How do you know the reporter got his information from Allman? The MSO releases a press release and the reporter most likely reads the same press release that we (the public) can read on the MSO website. This isn't the first time the "reporter" has stretched the facts I'm sure.

I am NOT a doper or grower! Plain and simple - I just want the UDJ to print the facts! I am tired of reading the interpretation of some "reporter".

The reporter quoted Allman directly. In my experience, that means the reporter talked to him. If the information was from a press release, the article would included a statement to the effect of "according to a report from the Sheriff's Office" or "Allman said in report from the Sheriff's Office." Also, you can see in the incident report reality checker posted above that the quote from Allman in the article ("It was a very large commercial marijuana grow," Allman said.) isn't included. It had to come from somewhere.

I never called you personally a doper! But, there are MANY conspiracy theorists who believe that all the above named sources are in it together. The fact is that the UDJ gets and prints the would-be "facts" which are given them by the UPD< MCSO etc... If they are given mis-information then that is what they print! so, if you truly just want the facts, we have nothing to argue over. But, if you think they do it on purpose as they did with the "Yes on B" campaign then watch out for those purple, happy, joyous Martians!

So, if I am to understand what you are saying, an Incident Report is filed, the reporter then goes to Allman and Allman states the facts differently from the Incident Report? So now who are we supposed to believe? The Incident Report, Sheriff or Reporter?

We definitely are on the same page. And yes we have nothing to argue over. I just want the facts and just don't who to believe at this point.

The Sheriff's incident reports states the information is preliminary. It is likely that by the time the reporter talked to the Sheriff that the Sheriff had more complete information.

Besides, what is the big difference between "4,000 plants" and "more than 4,000 plants"; "300 pounds" and "350 pounds"; $50,000. seized at each of two related locations and $100,000. seized at one location; guns seized at the first or second location or 10 vs. 12 arrests?

Either way it very clearly looks like a commercial operation. If it was "only" 4,000 plants and 300 pounds would it be a small medical grow?
