well i have a small room and im getting a new dark brown desk (link attached: ikea, http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40... )
im going to have that and 3 spot light type lamps facing down. one over the desk , one over the door, and one on the wall opposite the 2 lights. i want dim lighting and im having a hard time deciding on a paint color. i have 2 different ones in mind but for the sake of original ideas i wont post them yet.
the furniture will all be that dark brown color above (a bookshelf, wood window blinds, desk, and some other small misc desks and art frames)
your help is greatly appreciated, if any of this sounds ugly or you have a better idea to improve it i am all eyes. thanks!

Go for wall paint instead wall paper, the reason is wall paper might get peel after some duration.
With proper coat and simple techniques increases wall paint's durability.
