It about time they hit the jobs and take out the immigrants out. I as a American born amd raised in California, for the last couple of years my friends and I been looking for a job and when we would put a applacation they would want us to speak Spanish I don't speak Spanish the only language I speak is English so I wouldn't get hired, if I live in the United States the only language we are suppos to speak here is English. Thankyou now I think we Americans will get a job.

In the early 80's, immigrants began to take the residential housing jobs one by one. They had no training and were willing to work for $5/hour. The journeyman carpenters who had started their careers by going to apprentice school and then working several years as apprentices were out of union jobs in the Inland Empire by 1985. Those that stayed in the trade worked from then on with drastic pay cuts and no fringe benefits. A former union carpenter retiring today with 25 years' union service earned prior to 1985, draws $700/month.

Then why aren't the unions, who are supposed to be SO strong, fight against illegals working in the construction field? If the unions carried so much weight, there's no way so many illegals would be working in construction. CRY ME A FREAKING RIVER, the poor illegals might have to go to where they came from because there's no work for them. They might want to TRY THE LETTUCE FIELDS. i agree with all of u. they say that the american people wont do the jobs they do in the fields. well that is bull crap . i have to say put the ones that r in jail to work for $.20 a hr that way it would bring the cost of food down and pay back for them being in jail. we dont need these illegals here if they have no job good send them back they r just messing this country up go home

A lot of American teenagers are out looking for work because most the fast-food places have hired illegals. There was a time a kid could find work at any fast food establishment, but not Paco and Conseuelo have taken their jobs. I think In and Out is the only place that checks to make sure their workers are truly legal. Places like Carl's Jr., Mc Donald's, Baker's, Jack In The Box, and Tommy's, need to have ICE raids made on them. I bet they would loose most of their workers.
