Valentine's Day Forbidden by Islam

Look at all the money theysave by not having to buy for their multiple wives. Maybe there is a good side to Islam for cheapskates.

Torah is replete with stories of loving couples, husbands and wives. Abraham and Sarah, Jacob and Rachel, Isaac and Rebecca ... the list goes on and on. Love is a major theme in Torah.

Anyone who read the article (instead of just the headline) has found that attitudes toward Valentine's Day are pretty diverse in the Muslim world.

I know from experience that the UAE pretty much goes crazy over it.

Why don't you get off you kick about the Jews. The only thing they have done that I can see that you hate is that they are hard working people. This is the problem I have with some of these 'Islamic leaders'(so called). They do not know anything about the subjects they issue Fatwas against. First, in Islam something is considered 'bidah' if it is made up...and you cannot or should not celebrate something. Valentines Day isn't celebrated, it is a day used to recognize and show romance to your huband/wife (partner). How is that celebrating anything? You don't HAVE to give gifts if you do not want to, you do not HAVE to go out to dinner, you can do it anyway you want to.
