Who books this crap? Last year's lineup was great, especially the Raveonettes, Autolux and Kinky. What happened this year? They forgot the rock music.

I don't know what happened but this year they really scaled back on the venues and performers. There has been little to no promo for this event either. We performed last year and had a great time and response. We wanted to play again this year. We started 3 months ago contacting 'Make Music' Pasadena. Sent emails to all their addresses, became their myspace friend and called a number of times. Nothing in response, no email or not even a "sorry, we're full"
IMHO, the whole affair is apparently an after thought and running on a shoe string budget. |
