Not when tv news and entertainment are sponsored by the drug companies and doctors prescribe (as in my case) a high-potency pain pill for something successfully-managed by a couple of aspirin for two days. I think the question is, when will we learn that pain (I'm not talking about treatment of major diseases)and challenges are part of being human, not something to aviod by popping pills or numbing the brain with alcohol.
