Drugs and alcohol addiction ... rarely recovered from ... destroys families ... and the USA. When will people listen? What is the financial cost to us all? Innocent little kids pay a heavy price .. and on and on it goes.

Drug-free America? Not when tv news and entertainment are sponsored by the drug companies and doctors prescribe (as in my case) a high-potency pain pill for something successfully-managed by a couple of aspirin for two days. I think the question is, when will we learn that pain (I'm not talking about treatment of major diseases)and challenges are part of being human, not something to aviod by popping pills or numbing the brain with alcohol.

Do you ever leave your overpriviledged world to see how the other half live? It's not pretty.

I used to work with people in these situations. Yes, it is frustrating, but they are worthy of your respect, too! The last thing they need is more judgement when they are trying to do the right thing.

Thank you so much, not every one is born in a perfect home (however, this happens to those in perfect homes too ). It takes caring people to help others. I am thrilled there are helper's out there. They don't need our judgement to where they have been, but our help to do the right thing !

Really love this story and the brave women who are relating their experiences. I hope all goes well in their recovery and plans to unite their families.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Cancer

Love could catch you by surprise today. You might be strongly attracted to someone who isn't your usual type at all but who makes your knees go weak all the same, or you could get caught up in an illicit relationship that's exciting because it has to be kept a secret. If you're already involved with someone they'll need plenty of freedom and won't appreciate feeling emotionally tied down. You need to let them off the leash for a short while!
