You may not have spoken it or typed it, but which is worse, Not believing Jesus was a person at all or believing him to be a liar if he was a person?

You don't believe he existed at all, so even if he was a historical figure, you wouldn't believe him if he said, "he was the only way to God"

In other words, if he was really here, you'd have said he was a liar.

Don't be offended. That's not as bad as not believing in him at all.

THAT kind of "love", I DON'T need.

The only conceivable hell would be an eternity with self-righteous Christians.

Now, I most certainly do NOT consider myself unwise, and I do have good discernment, and considerable knowledge and understanding. They just don't agree with your fairytale view of the world.

Insulting someone in Christ's name is NOT a good recruiting tactic.

But you have no spiritual widsom, etc.

And that's ok. Hopefully the Holy Spirit will use situations in your life to bring you to a point where you cry out for repentence and salvation.

It's a horrible thing to fall into the hands of an angry God. You can avoid, but you won't be able to in your own strength. See, it's not by works (being good) that person is saved but only by the grace of God.

I bet you have people praying for you right now.

There is probably a brother, sister, mother, father, grandparent, son, daughter, friend, co-worker, etc. who is praying that God would convict you of your sins and bring you to a salvation knowledge of him.

You can fight and fight and you might ultimately succeed in spurning the work he wants to do in your life.

Why are so many of the members of the United States Congress from northeastern states such corrupt humans? Senator Dodd, D-CT, who is chairman of the Senate Banking Committee is under fire because he rec'd two mortgages from Countrywide Financial Corporation special program that gave preferential interest rates. Dodd is just another corrupt official who now plays a key role in trying to ease the nation's housing foreclosure crisis. Dodd is exactly what Obama talks about when he says "Washington is broken."
