AVET, YOu said Jesus was a mythical person.
I'd say that goes beyond saying Jesus was a liar. You don't believe he existed at all.
And, Dr. Libby wrote that God was a god of peace, which is true. But as an athiest she has no authority to speak or know anything about a god she professes doesn't exist.

Avet, You may not have spoken it or typed it, but which is worse, Not believing Jesus was a person at all or believing him to be a liar if he was a person?
You don't believe he existed at all, so even if he was a historical figure, you wouldn't believe him if he said, "he was the only way to God"
In other words, if he was really here, you'd have said he was a liar.
Don't be offended. That's not as bad as not believing in him at all.

There is nothing inherently bad about either statement, only your negative opinion.

AVet,
And I will continue to say it.
You see, VET, even though I think you are extremely unwise, lacking in discernment, straying from knowledge and lacking in understanding, I don't want you, UC, Dr. Libby, Waynesboro Andy, or my no basis former girlfriend to go to hell.
Granted my posts have been a bit caustic.
But the scriptures used are true and will be proven true in time.
So yes, I will continue to "spew forth my hatred" as described by UC and Dr. Libby.
But that are actually words of love and concern.

Now, I most certainly do NOT consider myself unwise, and I do have good discernment, and considerable knowledge and understanding. They just don't agree with your fairytale view of the world. Insulting someone in Christ's name is NOT a good recruiting tactic.

Former Girlfriend, Now now now. You know down deep you want me. (that was a joke).
But you are correct, I am closed minded, just like you.
You've closed your mind to all the scriptures have to say.
You like some of them and will tell the world about those you agree with.
But true biblical christianity accepts them all. You can hate the way I say it, but to reject the scriptures themselves proves you are not the christian you say you are.
I'll ask you, what scriptures have I misinterpreted?

Avet, You may have a human understanding, widsom, knowledge and discernment.
But you have no spiritual widsom, etc.
And that's ok. Hopefully the Holy Spirit will use situations in your life to bring you to a point where you cry out for repentence and salvation.
It's a horrible thing to fall into the hands of an angry God. You can avoid, but you won't be able to in your own strength. See, it's not by works (being good) that person is saved but only by the grace of God.

Avet, You'd be amazed at the way the Holy Spirit works in a person's life.
I bet you have people praying for you right now.
There is probably a brother, sister, mother, father, grandparent, son, daughter, friend, co-worker, etc. who is praying that God would convict you of your sins and bring you to a salvation knowledge of him.
You can fight and fight and you might ultimately succeed in spurning the work he wants to do in your life.
GOOOOOOO HOOLLLLYY SSSPPPPIIIIRRRRIIITTTT
Get him God!

While you're having your little pep session, have your bogeyman stop by and prove its existence. A simple request, that's all it will take.

Why are so many of the members of the United States Congress from northeastern states such corrupt humans? Senator Dodd, D-CT, who is chairman of the Senate Banking Committee is under fire because he rec'd two mortgages from Countrywide Financial Corporation special program that gave preferential interest rates. Dodd is just another corrupt official who now plays a key role in trying to ease the nation's housing foreclosure crisis. Dodd is exactly what Obama talks about when he says "Washington is broken."

Samantha, But Dodd is on Barry's team.
Dodd is going to help Barry "unite the country"
Remember the change Barry was talking about?
When Barry is elected, the whole lib party becomes more powerful since it will be one party rule.
