Bay area girls say their employer never paid them

Everyone should call them and ask them to pay the girls.

Craig's List isn't all it is cut out to be. When you want to do something underhanded that's where you want to put it. I lost money on a drier because it didn't work when I got it home. That person knew it didn't work because she was called as soon as we got it home and hooked up. When we called she never would pick up the phone. I don't do business with Craig's List any more.

I work at my maids.
I like my job and most of all my GM. I knew the girls they where very nice and really worked hard passing out flyers. Yes they did a great job and I am sure they will receive their paychecks. It’s too bad it had to go this far out to prove a point. Point is well take our GM will be more careful who there hire as employees. As a Drugs and alcohol fee work place he should have never give them a chance in the first place. They lied and used guilt to work at my maids. The lie was they will pass a drug test the guilt was using Christmas is coming soon and using a baby boy saying he has no food to eat. I am sorry they did not get there checks before Christmas that was the holidays and the pay period ended at an unusual date.
The girls should by no means be in position of a baby in there alcoholic behavior.

You shouldn't blame Craigslist. It has been very useful to me and like anything you have to be able to identify what seems suspicious and what is legitimate. If it seems to good to be true it probably is. There is a resource called internet fraud if you have been ripped off. I have only had to use it once and got what I bought after law enforcement got involved.
Tips for buying on craigslist, if it doesn't have a picture on the ad, keep going. ask specific questions, you can spot the suspicious sellers. Not completely fool proof but catches most.

Seems like all the people who work for this company are a bunch of uneducated degenerates. Look at the posts that are for the company, the spelling is rediculous.. This guy is a moron. look at all the negative attention he is getting over roughly $1200. Doesn't matter what these girls are or are not, if they did the work, then they should be paid. Period!

I think the owner of the company should be shut down. He needs to pay the girls double. The young ladies that spoke up for the company how much did he pay you to write that lie next time do spell check are ask someone else to write it for you. The company sucks and no one wants to work for a company that don't pay their employees for a days work. Lets see how he explain this to IRS during tax time.

Ladies, call Federal Wage and Hour or your State Wage and Hour office. Nothing strikes fear in the hearts of business owners than a wage and hour audit!!!

There's always 3 sides to a story. His side, your side, and then the truth. Did the girls fill out employment paperwork or were they being paid under the table? Now slander is being included by calling them a bunch of drunks or druggies. From the sound of it, the girls were hired to do one thing and ended up doing something else. The bad/unfortunate thing is, now their names and faces are all over the media. Good luck girls, go back, or stay in school so you won't have to clean anyone's house for a living.

Has Mr. "My Maids" ever heard the old adage 'WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND"? He won't truly get away with cheating people out of money they have worked for.

I think a new DBA name is in his future. He's pretty much trashed the "My Maids" name with the no-pay stunt. Then (if it really was him) he puts a libelous statement about them on a public forum. Priceless. He'd have been better off paying them in the first place.

Is there more to the story then we know.But under the law they MUST be payed.

The only employees that worked at My Maids were three girls and none with the name of "Jamie", so good try Rob, but everyone sees that it's really you writing all of those different paragraphs; but on the news you said that you didn't have time to answer any questions. Obviously it seems you have plenty of time on your hands if you can reply with all those messages. You say that it shouldn't have gone to this length, and you're right, it shouldn't have. There is also no need for you to make up lies about us using Drugs and being alcoholics (I can spell it.) We never said any untrue facts about you so why are you getting so defensive? For instance, lying and saying that Amanda never had food for her son, because even though money was tight since you never paid us, she always provided for him. All of this will end when we get our paychecks, but now atleast people know the real truth about My Maids and that's what really matters. Thank you for all the support from everyone.
