Washington's going to be a tough one. They aren't patsies anymore and they're only 2 pts out of eighth in the east.
The Hawks are rested for this one with the Caps playing last night in Nashville(and winning)...Ovie is an amazing player.
The boys better be ready to play. Get that first goal! Khabibulin has to live up to his nickname in these final 9 games! GO HAWKS!

Ovie is the MVP tis year for sure. Not only for his own record but by the way he inspires his team mates to raise the level of their game. We should kidnap the guy and put him in a Hawks jersey. Right now he is the best.
Now that I got that out of the way I have one more thing to say:GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!

As much as "Sid the Kid" is postered all over the world, Ovie is the player of the future in the NHL. His raw talent is tremendous. Ovie's physical presents is overshadowed by his amazing offensive skills.

Franchise players that are beginning to get locked up for 10-13 years at a time will really define teams and bring back that sense of familiarity with each team. I have never been a fan of players playing on 5 different teams in as many years.

I would rather have Ovie on my team than Sidney. Sure they are both great players. The thing that impressed me about Ovie was the All Star weekend. He was awesome in the skills competition. I just hope that he does not have a good night tonight. Hopefully the Hawks defense shuts them down. We need for Seabrook to rebound and have a strong game.

Amazing how the game has changed in 37 years, Players bigger, faster, more skilled. Would anbody besides Hull, and maybe Esposito and Mikita, have a job in today's league?

Ovechkin is really fun to watch. I'll watch a Caps game when the Hawks are not playing just to watch him. Tim and 319 are going to enjoy tonite. I just wish I could be going. HS baseball has started for me and I will turn the game on as soon as we get home from practice. My kid and I are going through "sports shock", changing from hockey to baseball. Batting cages instead of hockey nets. I agree, Washington is not a pushover anymore. I attribute a lot of that to Bruce Boudreau, the best coach nobody has ever heard of. He's a journeyman player and long time minor league coach who has finally gotten his break. It took too long for him to get to the NHL. I think he will be around Washington for along time. Ovechkin loves the guy. We need a big game from Khabby tonite! GO HAWKS!

they interviewed Hull and Makita before the game. I forget the guy that did the interview but honestly I don't like him. I would have loved it if Foley or Eddie O did the interview. Not sure if you watch the pregame with Eddie O and that other guy. The other guy is the one that I want to leave the Hawks, I really can't stand him. That is why we need everyone's help with the Foley sign up - Will, Paul, and Section 319.

Boudreau was smart enough to know that when you have a thourgh bred like Ovie you let him run and is he ever running.
