Ya know.. at this point I just gotta ask something here. Do the Islanders even HAVE a strength and condtioning coach? Cause if they do, they need to fire the bum. This is ridiculous and has been going on for more than just this season. At this level guys shouldn't be getting hurt with the frequency that is happening on the island.

The Islanders DO have a conditioning coach. Unfortunately, she's in Cabo eating Big Macs & double-chocolate-fudge ice cream with her boyfriend Tony Romo.

It's a damn shame too. Richard Park could've been a good tradeable asset but now he's joining Doug Weight, Rick DiPietro & Mike Sillinger on the "lost for the season" team. Maybe instead of jerseys & pads, the Isles should wear suits of armor & chainmail.

Park deserves a lot of credit. He plays hard and grinds it out!!!

But like Hilbert's comments-he was a very tradeable assest. What a shame....

Park is the team's MVP. If I were looking to fill a hole at trde deadline time I would have been calling the Islanders about Park. Now with the njuries there is no one to trade to get some prospects or picks

Park plays with a ton of heart and shows up every game but he is not the MVP. I would have to say Streit is the MVP.
