All the talk about the isles moving to KC is a lot of krap, even the NFL Chiefs are looking to move out of there, what are they going to do call them the KC barbeques? what a joke!

Wang shouldn't close the door on Queens. At least it's an option that they can use against Nassau County rather rhan sell and move the team.

The name Quasimodo has a ring to it also but I still have no idea what "pation" is. Must be a Spanish word like patron.

You wrote that "Queens is not an option as a future location for the Islanders, according to a statement issued by the club last night." but what the statement said was that they "are very flattered" yet their " current focus" is to work with the TOH for the Lighthouse Project." I dont see them saying that that Queens is not an option for the future, I see them saying that they want to stay in nassau and dont want to consider anything else at this time.

They can re-name the team the "City Slickers" named from all the oil all over the place from the chop shops in the area.

Queens is clearly not an option for the Islanders, based on population density, zoning ordinances and anti-pollution regulations, which Okposo and Weight clearly violate with their stinky play.

Hey Tap, so many of these fans are so very eager for success, they actually are running out of "pation"but who can blame them, remember, "pation" is a virtue.

3 guys from one small community playing against each other in the NHL. Pretty Cool. Joey Mac, Jon Sim and Colin White are all form the same area and played together in Bantam AAA. It would be nice for Sim to get moved and get on with life, somwhere else.

I'm with MetalChick - this is a total non-issue right now. Good for the Queens pols to step up, and it's not a bad backup plan, but the Lighthouse is (and should be) the priority.

As I am a Suffolk county resident. I would like the team to remain in Nassau/Suffolk only. Suffolk is certainly the better of the two. Only problem is theres no mass transit.
