well, if he keeps playing like he's capable of doing, yeah we'll keep him for sure. He plays really well with Plekanec... let's wait a bit and see how things go. I don't mind fancy footwork but I prefer goals you know what I mean??? How goes things in the U.S.A.?
Thinks are going well here, thanks for asking. We're all now just recovering from the Pats / Colts game (very tense game).
Too bad the B's lost to Ottawa after the great Pats game.
The reason I ask about Kovalev is that he IS doing well now, but it's only a matter of time before he A)Says something dumb to the Russian newspapers (which he'll deny, of course) B) Irk Carbo (not a guy to rile) or C) Pull a mid-season dissapearing act.
Now would be a good time to shop him, since you never know when he'll force his own value down.
Two guys are out there that would be great pick-ups for the Habs: Patrick Marleau or Marion Hossa.
Both look like they're on their way out from their respective clubs, Marleau for not being Thornton (and Thornton didn't become THORNTON 'till after the trade) and Hossa for being a UFA soon with a disasterous team.
What do you think?

Too bad you had to go and prove my point. Its sad that the folks from cities other than Buffalo keep this thread geared towards hockey.
Stop embarassing yourself
Seems to me that Buffalo doesn’t have that many REAL fans. Yes, when they were winning, everyone loves them, but where are these people now? Take a look at the Toronto forum, now those are devoted fans. They stay with their team and discuss their problems. Here, everyone is just bragging, and that doesn’t hold much when you’re losing. Just an opinion, so don’t go haywire.

hi cheryl. the habs are looking pretty good so far.better than I thought they were gonna be.Too bad they lost to the leafs on saturday.kovalev's doing good. they may as well keep him as long as he's doing good and doesnt act like a baby.like making smug remarks to management.ryder is being left out of scoring a bit.although i guess, hope, and assume that the puck will start hitting the back of the net more often for him; he'll pick up the slack when some other players begin to struggle.
yeah, the loss to the leafs hurt a bit but that's ok... we'll get by. I hope Michael Ryder starts putting the puck in the net but you know, he usually starts off slow and then picks it up so I'm not worried. How about that 2-0 win over the Sabres? Nice work from Huet huh?

I wouldn't mind picking up on Marleau but I think Habs management is going to try to keep Kovalev... perhaps he has realized that upsetting Carbo is a bad idea and as far as the Russian newspapers go - I think he learned his lesson.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Scorpio

You're in the mood to spend money on a favourite hobby or pastime today, so take care if you're supposed to making every penny count at the moment. The temptation to treat yourself to something that you'll undoubtedly enjoy will be too strong to resist, and the trouble is that you might not restrict yourself to just one item either. It looks like being an extravagant day!
