How can we ALL forget that Flatiron had the HIGHEST bid and the LONGEST time line for completion. IF we would have taken either of the two local bids,which were LOWER and Had the completion time for Sept/Oct, the cost would have been less and more local workers would have had JOBS.

I agree with Randie K and the majority of others in congratulating Flatiron and the MNDOT for building a bridge that our community can be proud of. They built a quality bridge and completed it ahead of schedule. Congratulations to Flatiron & the MNDOT!

Unfortunately, there will always be Monday morning quarterbacks like Jabber who don't know football and certainly do not know bridge design & construction. Fortunately, the Jabber's of the world are indeed a minority.
